I put batteries in the remote and linked with my Sharp model tv immediately. It was if it came with the television. No set up was needed although there are instructions on how to code it to the TV if necessary. Well worth buying.

Fits my tv works well

If you have a Sharp brand TV this remote will serve its purpose just fine. After putting in batteries, I was able to turn the TV on without issue. I did notice delayed or no response occasionally after hitting the menu button and trying to change some of the TV settings. I was able to change what I needed to, but had had position the remote just right and push in the buttons hard in order to get it to respond. Overall, it is still much better and more convenient than the alternative when losing a remote and using the buttons on the TV that I am glad that I purchased.

I purchased 1/2 dozen other remotes that wouldnt program specifically to my TV. This one does! 1 issue-the buttons don’t work very well. They don’t seem to be in-sync with the command. Example/ If I press 3, it’ll go to channel 33.

remote control is very cheap It has a mind of its own some of the buttons On and off I turned it off and it come On and off I turned it off and it come back on I change channels and it goes through different channels I hit the mute button And then it comes back on the And then it comes back on the sound Never buy this again I'm gonna buy brand name next time

A perfect OEM match. Buttons usually work but very frustrating when they don't. Cheaper feel than the original remote. I'll try a different brand when this one quits working which I don't think will be much longer.
