This is way cuter in person than in the pics. It comes with this little string of LED lights that you place under the train so it’s a bit misleading to say it lights up. The lights instantly burnt out when I put the batteries in and turned them on. I don’t care about it lighting up but if that’s a deal breaker for you, I wouldn’t advise purchasing it. The lights are extremely dim as well, the photo of the train lit up in another review had to be lights they added so that’s something to keep in mind.

This cute little train has been a fantastic addition to our gingerbread Christmas village. The size is perfect for our village. The details and its quality are top notch. The lighting kit is a nice addition you can use for the train or any other way you'd like; but the train is the star of the show. It draws all the attention in our village.

Arrived slightly broken on one wheel. I was able to glue it back together. That is my only complaint is wishing it arrived in perfect condition. Very cute item for the price and the recipient was delighted.

This train is cute. It is very poorly made. When I got it two of the wheels were off the cars. The cars sit well if they are not attached together. If the train has all the cars attached together half of the wheels do not touch the base of where they are sitting! It is cute, I only kept it as my tree theme was “peppermint”canes n candy and the train n gingerbread houses were to go on my mantel and gingerbread “cookie” figurines n ginger bread “Santa” was for under the tree! The gingerbread houses I bought on Amazon were perfect! The windows lit up. The train did not light up as all the cars were “solid cast”. I assumed the included small string of led lights were for under the train, which is where I put them! Had the train cars had “windows”. N each car been able to “ light up” it would be much cuter. I would not buy this again, because of poor quality, would never give it as a gift!!

I couldn’t display this right away because I had to glue all off the wheels back together because they came broken. The wheels definitely need to be built a little bit better. They are about as thin as a potato chip and extremely flimsy. I’m sure I will have to fix them every year. Once they were fixed, I was in love with the set. It fit perfectly on my tiered tray and will hold a permanent house there every Christmas. If it weren’t for the broken wheels, this set would have received 5 stars.

Cute Train, ordered this as a Xmas gift and 3 of the wheels were broken. Was able to glue them back together but for the price of this produc, it's very disappointing
