It works, but might require a system reset
Got mine T5000SF, successfully hooked it up to Nest application (Android) and ... no connection to thermostat (Nest Learning 3rd gen). As seen on reddit:1 - Remove batteries from all temp sensors2 - Reset thermostat: go into Settings > Reset > Network/WWN Connection3 - Remove sensors and thermostat from Nest app, reboot phone (just in case)4 - Re-install batteries to all temp sensors5 - Add thermostat back to Nest app (you might need to get a QR from the back of the device - just pull it straight off the wall towards you). Follow app prompts. Go into thermostat Nest app section to get 6-character code to allow pairing to your phone.6 - Once thermostat is added into Nest app - proceed to scan temp sensors QRs. And NOW temp sensors will successfully connect to thermostat.7 - Done. Everything should be connected.

Doesn't work in the UAE
Doesn't work in the UAE. Trying to add it via the Nest App shows that the thermostat needs a software update even though the thermostat is at the latest version. Searching on Nest Community forums reveals that this sensor only works in the US and Canada. If you really need multi-room sensors for your smart thermostat don't buy Nest. Ecobee would be a better choice. I regret buying the Nest one....
