Love this product.

I have an adult special needs nephew that adores pictures of his loved ones. Typical acrylic picture cubes crack and break when dropped, this solves that problem and are not a safety issue at all. This is an amazing SPED tool!

Great way to teach family member names

I love these as a way to help my little one learn family member names. I had prints made from a website that does 3x3 prints because 4x4 prints are too large. My only complaint is that two of the cubes had a slot that was sewn shut. I pried it open to get a photo in and the seam burst, exposing the filling. I sewed it up and it’s good as new, but I shouldn’t have had to.

Great dice for preschool activities

These dice are perfect for my preschoolers. I have four kids between 6 and 3 years old to keep busy this summer, so I searched Pinterest for ideas. One of them was to put action and directional words on two dice made out of spare gift boxes, and to do the combination that came out on top (example: "kick/backwards"). Another was to put action and animal words on two dice made from cardstock paper (example: "sing/like a dinosaur"). Both seemed like great ideas but that they'd get destroyed quickly, so I searched Amazon for blocks I could use instead. I found these, which are even better than the wood or plastic I had in mind! They're just the right size for little kids to hold (a large handful for an adult), and the pockets mean that if they get bored of the words I chose I can easily replace them. The papers don't fall out even when tossed. The soft foam shape means I don't need to worry if they throw a bit too hard—no one will get hurt like they might with wood or plastic dice—and they will hold up much longer than thin cardboard or paper would. (Bonus: They're washable!)The negative is because these are foam and made fairly cheaply, they're not perfect cubes. For the most part it's fine, but one of my blocks tends to land on the same two sides. It just means I have to switch around the cards I made on that dice occasionally so they don't always get "monkey" and "dinosaur." For this preschooler activity it's fine enough, or as a photo cube for babies it wouldn't matter at all, but I mention it in case that matters to someone considering these. In case someone wants to copy me, here are the words I put in this time. You can use any words you like though. It's a fun game that gets their wiggles out, brings out their silliness (imagine hopping in a circle like an elephant), and can be played alone, in pairs, or in a group.ACTION1. kick2. jump3. spin4. hop5. fly6. runACTION1. stomp2. wiggle3. eat4. sing5. walk6. swimDIRECTIONAL1. backwards2. forwards3. sideways4. fast5. slow6. in a circleANIMAL1. bee2. cat3. frog4. monkey5. dinosaur6. elephant

A Huge Hit with the One Year Olds, and the Family!

You have to be flexible with the pictures. I just printed some from family fb pages and resized/trimmed them to fit the slots before gifting. I used pics of grandparents, siblings and pets, some silly, some serious. Anything or anyone I'd like them to know and remember! (I was tempted to fill a block with all pictures of me!) Especially loved ones they don't get to see very often. They are very cute and lightweight, and makes the giver look very thoughtful :)

Your little one can see the people who love her most, everyday!

I added photos of our granddaughter’s closest extended family so she could see them every single day! They were a huge hit. She loves them as well as her parents and her other set of grandparents! Wonderful gift for showers, too. They are so durable, and you can change out the photos as people change!
