I purchased these to make labels for spice jars. I read reviews before buying them of people complaining that the template doesn't fit the labels. I'm pretty computer savvy and figured they were doing something wrong and I wouldn't have any problems. Wrong!!! I designed my labels using the online template and printed out a test sheet on a piece of paper and the labels overlapped each other. Nothing I tried would fix the issue. I read through reviews trying to find a resolution and someone posted to download the template instead of using the online version. That did it. So if you are having trouble with the labels not printing correctly, download the program. I had to adjust the printing down 1/16 and then the printing lined up pretty well for the first two rows but by the bottom of the sheet it was off around the edges. Because of the project I initially purchased them for which was labels for my spice jars, I wanted them pretty much perfect so I ended up printing three sheets. I adjusted it down a bit more and then the two middle rows lined up good and then adjusted it down a little more and the two bottom rows were good. I used them for another project making stickers for kids. This time I just did the 1/16 down adjustment and they lined up well enough since I wasn't as picky for this. I'm amazed that the Avery template for this label is so poor but hopefully using these tips you will have success. 5 stars for the labels, 2 stars for the template.

These Avery labels were just the right size for what I needed. Bright white which gives your design more of a pop. The ink prints on the label very well and I had no problems with it smudging or not drying fast enough.The only negative is the website and label template. Personally, I had no problem adjusting the alignment and getting the label to print perfect. However, for someone who isn't so computer savy and just wants to upload the template, apply their design and press print then these are not the labels for you. I can't imagine if my Grandmother was trying to print Christmas labels for gifts and used Avery's website and/or template to print them. Maybe some people got lucky or didn't realize their design was a little off center, but Avery needs to try these labels out themselves, at home on their own printer and see exactly what so many reviewers are talking about.However, if you are computer savy and don't mind adjusting and readjusting until your label looks great than these are right for you. I've tried many different types of labels and even went as far as just buying a stamp and stamping my design on instead of using a printer, but these are so far the best printer labels I've used. Avery is a high brand and the paper is good. Just make sure to print a couple practice sheets before you print on the actual label paper. Place it behind your label paper and hold it to a light to see how aligned your labels will be. The Avery website gives you the option of adjusting your design, but it's really a total guess once you have adjusted them. You just have to print a sample and hope for the best.

Each sticker size was 1 2/3" in diameter and 24 on a page for a total of 600 sticker labels.What I like about these sheets are they have never gotten stuck in my printer, they peel easily, print well, and my favorite feature is that you can download a template for the labels in several different formats just by searching for the label number on their website.The template is a major time saver and made it very easy to place the sticker design on the page. The stickers turned out great and fit perfectly on the chocolates.Overall I was very pleased with this product. The labels were the size I needed and also more than enough for my Halloween candy. Having the access to the label template is what sealed the deal for me. I highly recommend this product if you are looking to create your own custom labels or stickers. It says Laser on the description, but I looked up at "Reviews/29 answered questions" and I found the following: "Question: does it work on a color ink jet?Answer: Yes, they work in a color ink jet. I used them in both machines. You can use laser with inkjet and have no problems. But if you use inkjet with laser they smear. I hope this helps. By Erin Autobee on March 22, 2015"So I ordered it although I have a HP Envy. The result: quality was good, but it was impossible for me to get it printed from Avery template. It never fitted well regardless I checked all settings accordingly to theirs. After about ten hours wasted in two evenings, I gave up, sent it back and I am going to order one that is specific for ink jet printers.

So after reading so many mixed reviews, I decided to purchase these labels. I downloaded the 5293 template from Avery.com, and had quite a bit of difficulty with alignment in all directions (just as so many others have had) I was just using printer paper and not labels at this point. I decided to use AVERY Design & Print Online at Avery.com. It's a great tool, very user friendly and by the time you get to the Preview & Print screen, there is an Adjust Print Alignment button that helps to explain "How to Reposition Your Project" by clicking the arrow. That was a simple adjustment of a two of millimeters down and one to the right that was perfect for my computer and printer. My labels came out perfectly! Obviously, every computer and printer is unique, so fine-tune your own. I hope this is helpful to someone who might be hesitant to purchase these labels.

The quality of these labels is great; I just had a bit of trouble tracking down and then using the appropriate template for them. Still

total waste of money. It claims to be avery labels, but they do not exist on the website. A scammer perhaps?
