Set of 3 Rat Whisker Brushed for Chinese Brush Painting or Sumi-e

The bristles fell out of the smallest brush after 3 uses. I gave it 2 stars because it was nice when it worked.

This is a great brush at a very affordable price. I like how it keep its shape and it is easy to paint fine lines. It is not stiff nor too soft, just perfect in my opinion, with good spring. I will be buying another one for inking, since I like to keep watercolor brushes solely for watercolor. It arrived way before amazon estimated date, just 3 days after I order them. I appreciate Blue Heron Arts for the quick and reliable service.

The bristles broke frequently. Not suitable for precision work or anything with which you want a smooth finish due to the bristles breaking in the paint.

I received the Rat Whisker Brush in Brazil very quickly, so I'm very satisfied with Blue Heron services. The brush is excellent, very thin and resilient, appropriated to paint thin lines. I recommend this brush to all who want to paint on chinese techniques.

I'm experimenting with doing winter scenes and these brushes are perfect for putting the final touches on small branches and cleaning up faded edges where no fading was intended.

Great brush for lining of Chinese painting. The brush is slim, flexible and bouncy. It makes line drawing much easier and a pleasue in Chinese shuan paper.

Wonderful brush..helps in making those fine lines.. I may need another one for using with different medium.. I would definitely recommend it
