PetstagesBully Chew - Large, Brown

Our VERY heavy chewer, a 10mo old Golden Retriever puppy, has been chewing on one of these for about 6 months now. I’m SO pleased with it (& she loves it so much) that I ordered another one on Amazon for when her first one gets too small. She chews on it daily in spurts and has it whittled down to about 1/3 of the size it was when new, but still has a lot of life left in it. It definitely satisfies her need to chew and has been the one toy she keeps going back to. No odor at all, no color bleeding onto our carpet nor her fur, and she must love the flavor because after 6 months she hasn’t lost interest. Our other toy breed adult gets ahold of it sometimes too but we try to keep this one reserved for the puppy since she’s such a heavy chewer. Besides the toys she just fetches and releases, this is by far the longest-lasting chew toy that is actually meant to be chewed down over time. (She enjoys the Kong and the indestructible corn cob we stuff with peanut butter or toothpaste too, but those haven’t worn down and she’s only interested in them if we stuff them with something flavorful. The flavor of this PetStages Bully Chew is strong enough that she isn’t giving up on it.) I’ve been a big fan of most PetStages toys and chews, but I think I might have found a favorite in this one. I can’t say how many items it has kept her from ruining, but I bet it’s a lot! Highly recommended for very heavy chewers. I think she chews so hard on this that her jaw gets tired and she needs a nap. I call that a huge win!

We have two large golden retrievers that are heavy chewers. They absolutely love the pet stages toys. We get great longevity out of these toys. Would recommend to any dog owners!

Great product, my dog loves them!

My dog LOVES this bone! He chewed it nonstop until I took it away from him. Normally he will chew a bone, tire of it and leave it for another time. Not this one - he was obsessed. The only problem I have with it is that small bits came off the bone. They went right through him, I can be sure of that. It didn’t take him long to the point where the bone was just a nub. Since it is made in China, I have my concerns about the materials it may be made with. He didn’t suffer any ill effects, but I don’t want him to be consuming products where I can’t be sure what is in them.

I like it but the dog was underwhelmed. It's a good quality toy. A little bit of a beefy smell to it, but apparently not enough to interest my chewer. Always hopeful that these things will be a hit. He likes Nylabones, but he wouldn't even pick this up.UPDATE: 2/26/2018 I have lowered my star count. The dog decided to chew on this after all. Unfortunately he is an aggressive chewer and this thing didn't stand up to it. He ended up with pieces of this toy stuck in his gums and between his teeth. Fortunately I was able to get them out without the vet, but be aware.
