My 2016 A6's license plate mount had seen better days. When I moved, I had difficulty removing the old state's plate because the salt and elements had done a number on the areas where the bolts screw into the mount. Based on the reviews and claims of easy installation, I bought this product and have been really pleased. As many say, it's not an exact fit because the mount doesn't follow the exact curve of the body of the truck. But any gaps are tiny and not noticeable once the plate is mounted on the bracket.Installation was a breeze (it was harder to remove the old bracket due to it being "frozen" on) and my new license plate fits on it perfectly. And I think this was a fraction of the ridiculous price of the OEM part.

The factory license plate bracket was no longer able accept license plate screws. The Audi replacement part number 4K98271139B9 is 170.00 for the exact same design that is failing today. This license plate bracket was a direct replacement and worked perfectly for 1/3 the price with a superior design. Great product and highly recommended it.

Replacement for mt Audi A6. Plate bracket is very sturdy and durable and should last a long time.

The hardest part was getting the old bracket off, but once I did that the new one attached easily. Appreciate the tool and multiple screws.

I ordered this plate because the OEM plate has a serious design defect where the brackets for mounting the plate detach and fall behind the bracket. This bracket comes with everything you need to replace it, except for one thing: the OEM bracket is attached with screws (which you can remove with the included Torx wrench) AND adhesive strips, which you need heat and patience to loosen to remove it.This bracket is not a perfect fit, as the rear trunk lid is curved where the bracket is mounted. The OEM part has a curved backside, but this part does not. However, even with that, this is an improvement over the OEM bracket and is worth buying.Note that the included plate screws are Torx, whereas the original screws on my car were Phillips.

Amazing! Why didn't Audi do this in the first place??? Instead they have that stupid design with the captive nuts that keep falling inside the license plate holder. Can't believe I waited this long to replace that turd.You would expect much higher quality level of design on a vehicle like and Audi. This just goes to show you even on high-end vehicles they'll cut corners...

The bracket works and fits just as advertised. Kinda pricey for a plastic part, but the OEM part was cheaply made and broke when I took off my old tag.
