I've had this in my truck (08' F350 King Ranch 4x4) for a few months now and there are a few things about it that I like vs. the Nato magnetic mount that's in my wifes car. The footprint that actually sticks to the dash is not too large, I was able to find a spot for it on the center stack of my F350 that was within reach and visible. This is on-par with the Nato mount- they are almost identical in footprint.The one thing I was skeptical about when I first got it was the size of both the magnet and the magnetic surface that attaches to my phone case- but it's a non-issue, it grabs my phone and hasn't fallen off once. I'm not doing hard off-roading my truck but it's stuck on there well enough that I've stopped thinking about it. My wifes Nato mount again seems solid as well which brings us to the last thing.Both mounts are "ball mounts"- there's a ball on the phone side of the mount that swivels in a cup with a ring that you tighten when you've found the position you like. The Scosche mount can be tightened finger tight and the mount stays exactly where you put it, the Nato mount, even with extra torque on the ring will move after a while and begin to sag/ wiggle. So as far as stability while driving goes the Scosche mount is good- I was up north a week ago on dirt roads and it did well- it flexes a bit when it gets bumpy but a lot less than you'd expect. My wifes Nato mount will begin to move around and loosen up a bit and the phone will sag and flop around- not good. All in all I'm satisfied with the Scosche mount- high quality, easy to mount, solid performance.

I bought this magnetic holder along with the pro clip mount for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler. I have seen some of these mounted on jeeps before and they hold up great to on road and off road use so wanted to give it a try.Pros:-Very strong magnet-Comes with metal base plate to place inside your -phone case or to your phone itself-Large area so easy to just place your phone or tablet on itCons:Only comes with adhesive to mount it. Would be nice if you were able to screw it to a clip without having to modify the mount itself. But that's really just a preference and doesn't hinder it's abilities at all

They work very well to hold my iPhone 12 up on my windshield. Note that on really hot summer stints, they may occasionally fall off in 100+ sun. But, if you attach when it is 100+, man do they stay in place. Magnet is plenty strong to hold my phone, and swivel head adjusts and stays where i put it. Bought second to put in another vehicle.

Is the second time I've ordered these as the first time they only lasted a few months before they started breaking away from my dashboard. . Now, again, after about four months they start tearing away from the dashboard. The magnet compact and has a very strong magnet for my iPhone 13.

It works great in my car. I no longer have to hold the phone in my hand and maybe get a traffic ticket for doing so. I can.place my phone on the mount and check it for important messages or phone calls. I can also glance at it while using Google maps. Hands free. Grat product. I wouldnlove to be able to place the magnet on my case.

I combined this magnet with the ProClip to hold a heavy Samsung S24+, plus the metal plate, plus the phone case and it does the job. A little oversized but that also gives me the option to put a tablet there for movies if I wanted to.

After cleaning my dashboard, wiping it with isopropyl alcohol, and then the supplied wipe, I pressed the mount adhesive to my car for the recommended 30 seconds. I didn't use the mount at all with my phone (an iphone XR (6.84oz, on the lighter side for a full size phone), but when I went to start my car the next day the mount was sagging forward, with the adhesive peeling off at the top. Thankfully, I ordered the two pack, so I just cleaned everything off and did it again. I did it later in the evening so the summer heat wouldn't get to it as much, and pressed down for twice as long (60 seconds). No dice, same sagging when I came out in the morning. The mount does come with a backup adhesive, so with my two pack I had two more tries. This time I rotated the adhesive 90 degrees, thinking it would make a difference. Unfortunately, it did not. On my last try, I drove all over my apartment complex looking for the best shaded spot. This time it stuck through the night! However, after work the same issue occurred.I do live in the US southwest, so these extremely high temps may just be too much for this little mount. I've had success with Scosche mounts before, so I am fairly disappointed. If you're in a warmer climate, I'd look elsewhere.

Less than six months later had to buy a new one because it wouldn't tighten up anymore and my phone kept falling off.

I have been looking for a sturdy phone mount for my 2018 Toyota Tundra that doesn’t block the vents, or need to stick to the windshield, or use one of the cup holders. This is it. It fits perfectly in the space to the side of the radio/climate controls and sticks really well. When my phone is attached I still have easy access to all controls, my vet is clear and it holds my phone in place with no rattling. I wasn’t expecting this to work this well for the price and it has more than proved it’s worth. I have not done any back country roads yet, but this should more than handle them. I love the handy clip for the charging cable. The silver bezel matching the trim in the Tundra is a bonus. I recommend this mount.

Works for what I need to do. Still working after a few years of use. falls off on the occasion but due to weather, this is normal. I clean it put it back on says in position for months.

Love it.If you use one in your car, this office one is a must have. It is perfect in every way and the magnet is strong...very strong to keep both phone and strong case on.

Lo estoy usando con un iPhone 12 pro max en mi Mercury del 97 y hasta ahora va de maravilla, le puse otro imán encima para usarlo con la carcasa MagSafe de mi iPhone y hasta ahora (2 semanas) no he tenido problemas, el teléfono, a pesar de ser pesado, se mantiene sin ningún problema en su lugar, tenía miedo que se cayera el teléfono debido a la cantidad de baches que tiene mi ciudad, pero no, el teléfono se mantiene perfectamente.Editado dos meses después:Deje mi carro afuera durante el fin de semana, ya empezó el calor en mi ciudad, este lunes me lo encontré en el suelo, al parecer la cinta 3M no aguanto los 27 centígrados.Editado 6 meses después de compraLe puse cinta 3M para volverlo a pegar inmediatamente después de que se despegó, han pasado 4 meses de eso y hasta ahora sigue pegado en el tablero de mi auto, aún funciona perfectamente, no se ha caído el celular para nada. Recomiendo ampliamente reemplazar la cinta con la que viene de fabrica con cinta 3M de verdad.Actualización- 1 año de uso.Sigue funcionando correctamente. No se caído ni una vez mi iPhone 12 pro max. Tomando en cuenta las horribles calles de mi ciudad y sus impresionantes baches, es increíble que lo sostenga tan bien (el iPhone pro max es pesado). Sigo recomendándolo totalmente.Al momento de actualizar esta reseña el precio es muy elevado, a mi me costó $480 pesos, ahorita está en $1,055. Recomendaría esperar a que baje de precio, es muy bueno, pero no vale mas del doble.
