Art3d Mother of Pearl Shell Mini Square Seamless Mosaic Tile for Kitchen Backsplash, White, 12" L X 12" W

I purchased these as a replacement for some I bought 5 years ago. I have an outdoor fountain that had regular tiles and had to replace them with these. They lasted for 5 years and the fountain was in the weather 365 days a year. They are attractive, easy to work with and come in 12"x12" squares with 1" tiles. They are funtional and cut easily around areas by cutting the webbing the tiles are attached to. I used tile cement to attach to the fountain and what can I say 5 years is pretty darn good.p.s. After working with these tiles I discovered they are not 1 inch square, but closer to 7/8".

The tile was just beautiful, quality was great and easy to cut with scissors and no grout was needed just some loctite tube for tile and it drys fast . I didn’t catch the size in detail below in description. It’s advertised as a 12x 12 . Anyways I had enough.

These tiles are pretty, good quality, and very easy to work with. I was able to cut one 12" square tile into three, 2" strips by cutting the mesh backing with a razor. I also had a curved corner to fit, which was simple to sand to the correct size with a dremel. I did try using a cutter, but one of the tiles chipped even when being careful and making small cuts; the dremel worked much better. I used Red Devil 0497 Tile Paste Adhesive for this small job, so we'll see how it dries and holds over time. And I used a typical DAP bathroom caulk. So far I'm very happy with the result.

I've never installed a backsplash before. I saw these online and loved the idea of them being seamless. And did a bit of research and found they are fairly easy to cut if I needed to size them on the edges and corners. I just had some heavy-duty scissors and an exacto knife.So I went for it. $300 later I finished a huge kitchen area and my fireplace in the next room to tie the two rooms together. I had friends over two days later and they were astounded with how beautiful it was. Highly recommend this. I just bought a premium order to utilize, and these pictures show the finished product before I put a wood trim around the edges. I painted the wood gloss white and then got an iridescent paint to accent it and it really tied in with the mother of pearl. Don't use too much mortar. Put it on fairly thinly so it doesn't make the mother of pearl too uneven. It's so pretty I love my kitchen now.

For anyone who is worried about dirt getting in the gaps between the individual tiles on each sheet I want to reassure them that they are very precisely cut with no gap between them. I purchased these tiles in both colors for a fireplace surround with the intention of creating a pattern. I cut between the tiles and my design snapped together like a puzzle so tightly that it was hard to get them back apart to glue to the surround. A year later I can't see that any dust has worked it's way in, even where I did my cutting.

I love this pearl decoration tile. I’m very happy with it. It looks great.

I was not able to use them you can’t just peel and stick on wall as advertised. No this is grout hard work and professional install. Had to return them also I ordered 4 and only received 1 - go figure
