This product is awesome . When I received it I was skeptical on whether or not it would work . My pool had about 3 feet of water on top of the tarp after the hard rains . I put it on the tarp on Saturday about 1:00 and by Sunday around 10:00 am it was drained . The best thing is it requires no batteries or electricity to work. Great product.

The hand pump included with the kit has already failed after only 1 week of use. No suction to get it started, all you hear is air being pulled in from all the connection.

This is a durable piece that helps remove the water from the pool cover. It works great with our above ground pool.

Easy to install and definitely does the job. If I can install this and get it going, anyone can. Anxious to see how it works once the leaves start falling into the pool. Good little pump!

Heavy weight and bigger platform than expected. From the pictures I thought it was going to be smaller. So let’s get on with it. I covered my pool recently. Above ground 18 footer. Bubble in the middle and a new cover installed. Because there’s no rain expected anytime soon, I used the garden hose to replicate about a two inch over a day rain. Placed this unit in and squeezed the bulb and VOILA! This is going to be fantastic moving forward. No kink’s in the hose and plenty of it. I’m going to update when the leaves start falling. No more using a brick weight and sucking on a garden hose for me. I’m thinking I’m gonna love this moving forward. Should have bought this years ago will probably be my statement in the end.

The drain is very good, once you get the water flowing, it works well. 👍There are no directions with the product. 👎I had to go to the internet for a short video. it's not overly complicated but, you have to figure out how the siphon bulb works.The tubing is horrible. 👎To start with, it's diameter is undersized. I live in N E Ohio, it's cool here now and the tubing gets stiff. I had to dip both ends of the tubing in hot water (used coffee mug microwaved to get hot). Then I had to gently force the tubing over the fittings on the drain and siphon. PIA!!!The tubing is also too flimsy. 👎It kinks and doesn't hold its shape. Sometimes this impedes water flow.The tubing is too short👎I have to take one end of the siphon tube and put it into the end of my garden hose so I can direct the water where I want it.The siphon squeeze bulb is cheaply made and flimsy. 👎 I doubt it will last long.But, I like the concept of a slow draining process with no electric pump. Once you get this drain working, you walk away and let physics do it's thing.I will be upgrading the tubing and buying a better siphon squeeze ball. I estimate the additional cost at $30.00. Most of this will be for 25 feet of reinforced tubing.

This worked great for getting the rain water off of the pool cover. I also used it to drain my whole pool. Took about 6 days to empty 4,000 gallons of water but it worked so I was very impressed. I would definitely recommend.

They sent me a unit with holes in the tube and it won't work. Utter garbage.
