The suggestion by the Organic India site is 2 before bed with luke-warm water for Digestive issues. If you want to use this as an energy boost in the morning take one with breakfast.

In the interim, to answer your question, this is an herbal blend containing 320mg of organic amalaki fruit, 320mg of organic bibhitaki fruit, and 320mg of organic haritaki fruit. This product is not designed as a fiber supplement. It is sort of hard to read the ingrdients from the picture so I will list it here. There is 160 mg of each of the fruits Amalaki, Hiritaki and Vibhitaki which is 480 mg total per capsule.
