Not for me
I do not know if this because of the brand or type of Amaranth since there are supposed to be many of those. I really cannot get away with this. I first tried cooking it in my microwave and it cooked. I then tried cooking it in a pan, no difference. Yesterday teatime I rinsed it through a few times as normal then left it soaking for a few hours. I then rinsed and refreshed it and left it soaking overnight. This morning I rinsed and refreshed it again. Finally on cooking it I found that only by smothering it in maple syrup could I eat it. I find the earthy and bitter taste unpalatable again is this the brand or type? There is also a bitter after taste almost metallic, maybe it is a little less after all the soaking and rinsing but it's still there. So this "product" is not for me.
