I was feeling hopeless after my senior dog was diagnosed with Cushing's and finding out how ridiculously expensive the testing and treatment is. I got this as a Hail Mary, and it has made a noticeable reduction in my dog's symptoms. She used to be constantly snuffling around for food at every second, and begging to go outside constantly. But now she seems to be able to actually chill and not be as obsessed. Yes, she still is very interested in food and knows exactly when it should be meal time, but she seems like she can actually relax now. It doesn't smell very good and she doesn't seem to like the taste because sometimes she will spit it out. But when I squish it into another soft treat I give her for her joints, she eats it just fine. The effectiveness in reducing her symptoms makes it worth it!

Listen to the reviews about the smell and taste. I originally bought these despite the reviews bc it is third party tested by consumer lab and recommended there. However like many reviews state it smells horrid! My dog refused to eat it and ran from me when I wrapped it in cheese to try to get him to eat it. It’s not useful if your pet won’t eat it. Customer service was great and even though it said it wasn’t returnable they refunded me the amount.

Update April 2026 - Our Sophie is still doing just fine, she had been diagnosed with cushings disease in Dec of 2023. Please read on and I pray you too have the same results we have. Simply amazing. UPDATE Dec 2025- our baby is still alive and thriving- this has been a lifesaver for her. The following was the previous review in Dec 2023. So, our fur baby was diagnosed with cushings n didn’t tolerate the hideous drugs (that state people need to wash their hands well after even touching them so scary right!) anyway- after 3 weeks of her on these n an additional supplement from this same company- we took her back for her checkup today and our vet (who also has a dog that has cushings who gives her standard drugs) said she was amazed. Said to keep doing what we are doing until when n if it stops working. We give her one of these in tha AM - n a flaxseed one in PM n give her dasquin (spelling)? Which help her joints 3-4 times a week. Now, we caught it early where saw a few little tufts of hair over this one week n then noticed she was drinking a lot n her legs sometimes quivered when she was eating or drinking at her bowl. We raised the bowls to about her shoulder level but with the meds no more symptoms. Hopefully it keeps working- we will see but for now we are and so is the vet AMAZED

12yo cocker mix dx with Cushings. Started him on these about 6-8 weeks ago. No more panting. No more thirst cravings. Little more energy. Less accidents. Very happy. I wanted to try a more holistic approach before having to start prescriptions (side effects), and so far this seems to be helping his quality of life.

My dog was diagnosed with Cushings disease in 2020. We did a year of prescription treatment, but the side effects were heart breaking. We switched to a more natural treatment and have seen great improvement! These pills are easy to break in half (he gets 1.5 pills twice a day) and he doesn’t seem to mind the flavor of them. I can just drop them in his food and he gobbles them up.

Helps dog to sleep but isn’t really doing anything else not sure if this is worth it—especially since it’s kinda pricey for what it is. I think I could get similar redponse with CBD as to what I’m getting with this.
