Ok. So I'm one of those people that absolutely suck at buying big purchases like new mattresses when they're clearly needed. I tend to just sleep on the old original, make due, suffer, and complain about it every waking hour..I want to first admit. I did get a discount on this one. Not sure how, just put it in my cart and it was cheaper than what the list price was. Might have been a credit from Amazon I wasn't aware of at the time..So I bought it anyways.First the packaging is awesome. Came in a really small box vacuum sealed with 2 layers of plastic.Remove from box, remove first plastic. 'roll it out', remove second plastic, and watch it expand right before your eyes..It DOES take about 24hrs for it to fully expand. Do not be discouraged. The middle portion expands fast, but the ends (head and foot) do take a little extra time but it's not a big deal honestly.. Give it time!First I sat on it, and it was amazing! Firm, but plush against me, supported but didn't push back so much I was uncomfortable. Then I laid on it. Super firm for the first couple seconds, but once your body sinks into it it really does add great support, but cradles at the same time..It's firm for support, but plush enough to still cradle you like a softy.. Best of both worlds.First sleep.. Now. I've had chronic sleep problems, and severe pain for years, and I really believe it was due to bad sleep on an older spring mattress that's seen better days.. I'd toss, turn, wake up over and over. and though I was laying down for 8-10hrs. I was probably only actually asleep for 2 of those nightly. Life sucked! (although I'm sure the chiropractor enjoyed all the visits)First sleep on this mattress. I slept through the night, turned over once and woke up fine. Sat up. did my morning twist and turn, snappity, crackity, pop. stretched out and actually felt muscles stretching and not just bone/joints grinding.. After about a week. (because there's no miracle pill) I lost 90% of my chronic pain. Because I'm sleeping through the night, not tossing and turning constantly, and the mattress is supporting me no matter my angle.I would 100% recommend this, and other products by this company.. It's cheap! (I mean inexpensive), well worth the money, it comes in different firmness's, and trust me. Your body will love you..

I bought four to use on bunkbeds and they are very comfortable. No smell fully extended in 12 hours. Very high quality mattress, a little firm so you don’t sink.. we love them

It is ideal for it is ideal for a boat mattress as I was able to cut it to fit it where it was needed

Absolutely love it! Unlike most people that have written reviews on this, I bought it to be my bed, not for a guest room or bunk-bed, etc.. I was looking for something that didn't take up much room (currently renting one room in a house) and could be rolled up or stood up during the day to provide more space. I needed it firm but not stiff (60+ male, 200 lbs with a few chronic med issues), since it would be laying on a piece of carpet on a wood floor (no frame). It has more than met my expectations so far. I can't wait to go back to bed later :-).It came vacuum-sealed and rolled up, encased in a thicker (4-5 mil?), "tube" of plastic inside a good-quality, thick cardboard box. Carefully cut the thicker plastic (too tight to slip off) tube off (use scissors if you want to be sure not to slip and cut into the mattress) with a box cutter and cut off the plastic "bag". No big release of chemical vapors like others I've dealt with in the past. I was very surprised how low (almost non-existent) the odor was. Had to get really close to the mattress to notice it. It expanded pretty fast to the full 5" and I let it lay on the living room floor overnight and into the next day to air out (instructions say it can take up to 48 hours to fully expand but mine took less than an hour).Next day I replaced my bed-roll (2" mattress topper with a couple pads for easy roll-up and stashing out of the way) with this mattress and tested it out. Super comfortable for me. It is firm (some would say very firm) but for me it has just enough give and provides great support). For a lighter person, it may be too firm depending on your taste. It's too thick to roll up like my make-shift bed roll but it will stand up in an area out of the way. I'll take that trade-off of a better sleep vs a bit more room any day.For those who want a softer feel, get a mattress topper for $20-$35. A topper of 1" - 3" will provide the softness and "give" that many like. It can then be removed for those who like a firm to very firm feel like I do. In any case, I was just going to lay on it for a while to read and check comfort level but ended up falling asleep before I had even put the sheets on. Got a great nap. Hadn't slept that well in months. Can't wait to try a full night of testing tonight :-))). Your mileage may vary. Sleep comfort is a very individual thing but for me and my needs, this mattress is a great fit. Hope it works as well for you.

This mattress has been awesome. We’ve had it for a year now and it’s still going strong. The thinner depth was great for saving space on a bunk bed, but there’s no sacrifice to comfort. It’s in our toddler’s twin bed, but both of us parents have tested its capacity. I sleep on my side, and have had no issues with feeling wooden slats through it. My 190lb husband has also napped comfortably on it.Twin sheets fit on it with ease, and the part that’s great for me (who’s 5’2) is that it’s light enough to take on and off when I need to change sheets on the top bunk. Huge win!!We plan to buy this same mattress for our other child once they move out of the crib.Great value! Great comfort & light enough to move easily!

Nice mattress reasonable price and no odor.

This mattress is as firm as it can get and still be rolled up in a box. It is comfortable though. I need firm to be able to turn over. I needed firmer so I went out and bought a proper bed. That cost a lot more money but this dad is not what I'm needing.

It’s firm and thin. You can’t feel the frame underneath. It’s perfect for my sons metal bunk bed.

I was looking for a firm mattress to help support my back, and this one hits the mark on all areas. Perfect 5 inch height that doesn't sag into the ground when you put weight on it. Provides great support and feels great after long naps.

Muy bueno, no se deforma ya tenemos mas de un año con el, lo único es que el tamaño individual viene un poquito más pequeño de lo normal pero no es grave, descansas excelente.

Bought this for a loft bed that has headroom limitations, so the 5” mattress was as tall as we could go. I had pretty low expectations for it, figured I was going to have to put a solid base down over the slats, or maybe lower the loft bed and add something else, but holy moly did this mattress ever deliver! I’m not a small dude (6’ 230lbs) and I have had some awesome sleeps on it while I was banished from the bedroom due to illness.Plush and firm at the same time, I sleep on my stomach and side and it’s been great for my back. Might just have to make it my mainstay bed 😂

Llegó rápido, en una caja no muy pesada, cómodo pero especialmente lo considero para niños. A la hora de sacarlo del empaque empezó a tomar su forma pero de un lado quedó un hueco, poco a poco se va levantando (una semana). Por el precio es justo.
