Very difficult. Prepare to need a lot of room for this

Ravensburger puzzle have top quality pieces.

My husband the Puzzle Ninja! He loves Ravensburger’s quality, thickness, the way the pieces fit, the vibrant and very detailed image. He liked the subject matter - this was different from his usual preference. The many different colors kept it interesting and he said it was very relaxing.

As with all Ravensburger puzzles, they are of very high quality, though I have to say with this one the pieces seem to be a little more fragile than some I have worked on in the past. We found about a dozen pieces that need some TLC from the first sorting through the pieces.Since I am a space nerd I actually read all of the planetary stats on the puzzle itself and found one mistake. For Uranus, they have the "Distance From Sun" stats backwards. they show:2,871 million miles1,784 million kilometersIt should read:1,784 million miles2,871 million kilometersOther than those small things its a great puzzle and very beautiful. Maybe someday they will do an undated version and include the James Webb Space Telescope on it as well.

Ravensburger has gone straight down hill. I’m really into puzzles and I do about one of these 5k puzzles a month. I bought this one because it looked so cool. Unfortunately, the pieces are very weak. If you put the wrong piece in a spot and try to remove it the tab of that piece will bend and sometimes the picture portion of the table will rip off. Another problem is that the pieces of this puzzle seem to fit anywhere. Usually with most puzzles I complete the outer edge first. I was unable to do this with this puzzle because many of the pieces would fit together even though they didn’t belong together. The puzzle also has a pattern that repeats itself. I don’t like this puzzle at all. I enjoy a good challenge, but this is more annoying. This puzzle doesn’t give me the satisfaction of the “click” feeling/sound of when you find the right spot for a piece. I recently bought the 32k puzzle from Ravensburger and had the same exact issues. If you’re a puzzler and enjoy the challenge of a well created puzzle, this is not for you. Avoid this brand if you don’t like repeated patterns and unsure piece placement. I have written to Ravensburger a couple of times and they do not respond. Bad puzzle, bad quality, bad customer service.

I bought this puzzle for the amazing detail and it doesn't disappoint. Where I am disappointed is the quality of the pieces. I had one piece that had a knob completely ripped off and stuck in the connected piece (which thankfully I found pretty quick). I have had multiple other pieces that have knobs that are close to tearing and are severely bent. I have had to glue 5-10 pieces to keep them from getting worse and could have glued at least 100-150 others. If it wasn't for the impressive detail and printing of the puzzle, it would be rated at 1 star. I haven't seen any other puzzle with the % of pieces with issues, and this is supposed to be from the best quality puzzle vendor out there.
