Easy to install. Works great!
It was easy for this old grandma to install by herself. It took the place of a heavy old chain that was difficult to use. Be sure you get your pipe dimensions correct. I thought I did but was wrong and had to return mine for a different size. I hope it hold up. I didn't mark any stars for durability because I just got it. I don't think it is as well made as the ones that were marketed in the 60'S.

if you arent using them for a larger animal i'm sure they're great
They would work for a small dog or other small animal- we got them for goat fences and they are not sturdy- the goats can push and bend the handle/gate holder easily.I don't even bother to use them in my goat yard hospital pens anymore...... The cows like to rub against them to scratch their backs.....
