With the bulbs only an inch apart it has a much more brilliant display. The different patterns that you can choose are great. And most importantly to me is the brightness of the bulbs is excellent! My old lights were dull opaque colors compared to these.

These type of LED lights are the modern way to go for Christmas lighting, and I really wanted to like them. The low-voltage circuitry is much safer and energy efficient than the old days. The look and brightness of the minimal bulbs is quite pleasant. The low-voltage wiring is thinner and more malleable when stringing the lights and visually blends in better with the tree. The 300 lights per string covers a lot of tree, and the option to chain even more strings together offers great adaptability to different lighting scenarios. There are also programmable blink, flash and glow patterns that can be changed from the inline controller or with the included remote. Seems like an appealing package.However, it seems these lights are designed with the assumption they would be left plugged in 24/7 and would never lose power. We found that if you make any changes to the blinking mode you will have to manually reconfigure the lights to restore that preferred mode EVERY TIME the lights lose power. No thanks! We control our tree lights with a light switch across the room that is connected to the outlet behind the tree, and the switch totally cuts the power to the outlet causing these lights to lose their setting EVERY TIME. I know we could probably leave the outlet powered on all the time to preserve the memory and just use the remote to turn the lights on/off, but I'm really not interested in trying and keep track of yet another remote around the house just for controlling the tree lights.At the very least, it seems the default mode could be something less seizure-inducing, like simple always-on (no blinking) with the option to liven it up with some blinking, if that fits your style. That would probably be a far more useful default for more people, and it would have made all the difference to us since we just wanted always-on lights with no blinking.For me, this unfortunate no-memory design made the lights unusable, and I returned them.

I loved adding these lights in addition to my pre lit tree lights. They have a beautiful twinkle on the right setting! I look forward to using again next year!

Just one set of these lights was enough to light a 7 foot tree. They have several blinking settings to chose from.

Loved every bit of this product except for the twinkling lights mode was really a twinkle as much as it was a blinking pattern however love all the other modes and they are super bright. I have a 6 and a half ft tree and 300 lights fit perfectly

It's tricky finding truly warm whites lights with green cord. These are wonderful and we love all of their settings. The only tip: If you put them outdoors (as seen on Palm tree), make sure you tape around the connections (when you plus two strands together and also the dangling potential connector), because the first lower light batch went out due to a solid rain soaking and we could see how rainwater seeped in. Now taped and no problem at all!

Great product! Only wish it had a remote. Definitely makes a difference in the way the Christmas tree looked.

For the price it’s great. As a single strand every mode works as stated. But I bought 2 and when I hooked them together the modes were totally different. And they never sink on the same mode. So with two strands I can’t have just white or just multi, it’s always changing and blinking. And with the two strands I’ve only found one setting I actually like whereas with the single stand modes there were multiple ones I liked. So not prefect but not terrible.
