A fantastic Power Source for all needs...
I have been using new new PowerOak 1000w portable power supply for a weeks now.The unit is around the size of a mini tower Pc and has4x 3a USB ports1xusb C port1x 12v 9amp car charging port2x 230v 1000w UK plug socketsThe unit has a built in inverter for 230v power and solar charger for safe solar power charging of the unit. The unit comes with a standard AC adaptor and solar cable for charging.I bought this for a few specific reasons- Portable Power for --Off Grid Garage to power light power toolsSo firstly for my garage I’m able to power tools and lights for my car restorations. I simply charged the unit overnight and take it out when I want to work in the garage which is not close the house unfortunately,I have 12v DC led strip lighting and 230v AC tools. I’m able to get a full day with medium use of the unit.- Off Grid Power for Garden OfficeLikewise with my garage I have a small garden office without power. Using this unit I’m able to power a small pc, monitor, flat screen tv and lighting.- WorkSo as you can see in my pictures this unit not even breaking a sweat powering my Fridge Freezer. As an electrician I use this device for provide temporary power for critical equipment during Powerdowns. For example during distribution board changes, the power is off for a number of hours. From this unit from a recent power down I was able to run a fridge freezer, Wireless router, Flatscreen Tv and charge the family phones. While the unit is impressive is it quite heavy. But it is expected especially how much power this unit punches. The unit has a sturdy carry handle with rubber grip so is comfortable to carry. The build is great with no issues or complaints.5 star service from PowerOak and will report back in months to come with more feedback

Well built and reliable emergency power. Useful for powering many products.
I bought both this and the PowerOak AC50 after extensive research on the net. They were both initially to be used when I went 'off grid' in my motorhome. However as we are now in 'lockdown' that review will have to wait and this will be about my overall impressions of them both around the home. Firstly I would like to say how efficient the dispatch and delivery was from PowerOak even in these difficult times and the product arrived sooner than expected and I was able to track it's progress at all times.I initially bought the AC50 as I thought it would be ideal for powering my laptop with it's pure sine inverter and my small motorhome 12v LED TV. It was also ideal in that I could easily charge it from the solar panel on my van's roof or from the vehicles 12v socket when driving. I also have various smaller gadgets such as a Garmin GPS and smart watch which can all be charged from the USB sockets. My friend has a wireless charge Samsung and that sits happily on top charging. All in all I was very impressed. So impressed was I that I decided to buy the EB150.This will quite happily power my microwave and also a slow cooker. This is ideal when off grid in the van as I can leave something cooking all day in the slow cooker so I have an evening meal when I return to the van....or in colder months I like to cook porridge overnight in it.I have been trying various household items with it such as my larder fridge and my freezer and it happily powers both of those. It is comforting to know, especially in these difficult times, that I can power essential equipment for extra time if there is a power failure. I did look at other makes some of which had larger inverters but the use of well thought of LG batteries and the reliability of the AC50 made the choice of the EB150 an easy one.I have both solar panels on the roof of my van and a portable fold out panel as well. Both units have MPPT charge controllers and last week although not ideal weather the EB150 was drawing about 90w from a 120w panel. I will be interested to see how they perform when the sun is higher in the sky.All in all for the 'casual' and not very scientific minded user both these items are ideal, reasonably priced and of a high quality.I already have friends who have asked to borrow the AC50 for their glamping trips if we are ever allowed out!!
