Fit and performed like OEM part it replaced
Bought this for our 2010 Honda Odyssey EX-L with approximately 158,000 miles. It developed a slight vibration in the front end at speeds above 40mph. After replacing the Front brake rotors and pads as well as having the wheels and tires road force balanced, the shimmy was still there. Bought and installed the CV axles after researching the issue on the Odyssey forums. Install was pretty easy and even though the original parts looked ok on the outside (boots were intact), these cured the shaking completely. These are much cheaper than the Honda OEM, which I was going to buy initially. In my case, this axle worked well.

Great so far
Update Feb. 2024- Had these on for 5 years now and I am starting to feel a little vibration. So I guess it did it's job for $60 in 5 years. This is a much cheaper price than an OEM Honda axle, but it did not last 12 years like the OE axle. Now it's time to replace it a second time. Some tips for a 2006 Odyssey: When you get the new Cardonne axle make sure you carefully inspect that the joints are free to move and it does not come out of its joint before installing. I received a dud new part before. The only way I could remove the passenger side axle was by using a small 18-24" crowbar and using a bolthead as a fulcrum point which is the easiest way to remove it from the passenger side wheel well. Since I do not have a lift, I jacked up the van a little off the ground. I couldnt beat or leverage anything from under the car. Old review: Had them for a year now and still working great, boots are fine even with a harsh winter and lots of potholes. They are rusting a bit but it was much cheaper then OEM Honda shafts. Watched several you tubes to remove them, some people do not do it correctly but gives you an idea on how to do it. Passenger side was a bear, but the Youtube with the guy who uses a small 18-24" crowbar and uses a bolthead as a fulcrum point is the easiest way to remove it from the passenger side. It took me all day to do both sides with changing the stabiler links, rebuilding the top strut mount and an oil change while I was down there. Also removing the Strut bolts were much easier for me. No alignment needed, I marked the location and angle of all the removed bolts and nuts.

Shorter than it is supposed to be... Expected...
This is noticeably shorter than the unit I pull off the car, by about an inch.. haven't driven it yet... the other Said made in the USA so I doubt it was factory. Update: After driving... it works great. Update 2: After a short break in period that shorter shift has shown its weakness... the spline end rattles inward and outward at the junction, causing a very loud suspension type noise as if my ball joints have failed. Returning for a product that actually fits. This was purchase from Amazon resale... could have been swapped out by a previous purchaser. I am returning this as incompatible, so none of you will get this again. See picture below, CV axles are not supposed to sit this deep in the hub.

It's a 36mm socket! NOT 40mm!
Fit and worked nicely but -1 star because "manufacturer" answered my pre-sale question of what size nut comes on it with 40mm. WRONG! It was a 36mm and now I have a $20 40mm socket if anyone needs one!

Works good on 2008 Honda Odyssey.
It fitted fine and took care of freeway speed vibration. Original halfshafts on the vehicle were defective.

Cardone is generally a brand that I trust for auto parts. My old Honda axles had cracked open CV boots, so I replaced both front axles with Cardone brand axles. I seem to have a vibration under acceleration now. I just went through this with a cheaper brand of axle, and had to remove it and throw it away.. I've never had so much trouble from CV axles before. I have a feeling that you may have to use ONLY Honda axles. Otherwise, the vibration may drive you crazy.
