Does the handle extend?

The frame folds down flat for storage, but once you open it the bag attaches to a cross bar in the back so no the handle cannot be extended.

How long, approximately will items stay cool?

not very long, the insulation is pretty flimsy. The answer really depends on how long do you want to keep things cold or cool.

Can 12 packs of soda fit and case of water

Pretty sure a 12pack of soda would fit...case of water would fit if on it's side, bit not laying flat on bottom

What are the internal measurenments of the bag please?

My bag is approximately 7 1/2 inches by 13 1/4 inches by 18 inches deep. I say approximately because it is a soft side bag with an insulating liner that doesn't make for very neat corners.
