ZhiGu PICC Line Shower Cover Adult Large Size, Watertight Arm Shower Protector for Chemotherapy, Home Antibiotic Infusion and Surgery

1) I take long showers. 2) I've used other products for upper limb protection from moisture 3) I'm using this to cover a PICC line and its adhesive cover 4) In this application, it is absolutely critical to have 100% water proof covering during showering I've used the usual disc shaped ends type limb surgery covers for both my current (upper arm) and prior (foot, calf) post surgery moisture protection. This product I am reviewing is 100% water tight during my long showers while fully moving my arm in all directions throughout the long showers, and while washing right next to the edges of the outer Silicone sleeve. My PICC line has been bone dry every time. This is by far the most perfect solution to keeping an open skin area dry. I would never use any other product. I have experienced, with those other design surgery area waterproofing sleeves, leakage. In fact, with those other, inferior products, I expected leakage. To confirm I have no moisture creeping in at all during my showers, I place a cut doubled piece of paper towel over my PICC line cover, then pull the inner sleeve (an ingenious addition for the outer Silicone sleeve) over the area, holding the paper towel over the PICC line. The inner sleeve fits tight and keeps anything from moving, plus it keeps the capillary lead tube that connects to my IV supply (which of course is disconnected for showering) in place while I pull the outer sleeve over my arm. This thing doesn't move. It stays in place with all my arm activities during my showers. If I could give this product ten stars, I would. The price is very reasonable.

Seals tight to keep water out. The cloth sleeve included with it keeps my arm comfortable under the silicone. For me it worked great. I recommend this item highly.

Works good it allows me to shower with a pic line

We had to act fast as my husband suffered unexpected complications from a knee surgery. He had a massive infection in the surgical site a week after surgery. After a stay at our hospital on IV antibiotics, he was sent home with a PICC line in his bicep for 6 weeks. I immediately took to Amazon to research PICC line sleeves and PICC line shower protectors. I didn't have a ton of time to research them or even order a few and keep the one that works best so I went with this one and it has been AMAZING. It is a little difficult to pull up over his arm hair and it will take too people because it is VERY DURABLE silcone material. We have been using this for 5 weeks now, every day and it hasnt lost any of his suction and the stretch has not weaken. I am writing this review because PICC lines are no fun and this product really helped my husband enjoy a shower which is huge when you are recovery from an illness.

Unfortunately I need to use a product like this now. I purchased several styles via Amazon and this product works the best for me. At 150 lbs and having lost a lot of muscle mass recently the M size is a bit tight around the upper arm, but creates a great seal. I purchased the L size which works better for me on the upper arm, but loose on the forearm if extended towards the wrist, so I pull it up closer to the elbow (like rolling up my sleeve) and that works perfectly. It's easy to put on, not uncomfortable and I haven't had a single drop of water sneak through. Happy with the purchase.
