AFI, Madison Full Solid Wood Panel Headboard with Attachable Charger, Walnut

I've given this headboard five stars because it met our expectations. It is nice looking and was easy to assemble. We had no issues with the quality, an issue raised by some reviewers. The finish (white) was evenly applied and we found no imperfections.We installed this item in our guest bedroom, which gets very little use. It is not as rigid as we would like, but this is more due to the nature of the connection to the bed frame than to a deficiency in the headboard itself. A more robust/heavier headboard would probably not have this problem, and buyers looking for a "full time" headboard might be well advised to spend a bit more or look at alternative methods to attach to the frame (some frames have a "bayonet" fitting that would fit into the slots also provided in the headboard).This headboard came with a USB outlet that could be installed on one of the legs. We did not use it since we have conventional outlets on either side of the bed.

The item was in perfect condition, arrived very fast and I do not have prime. The instructions were very easy to follow, I can truthfully say - one of the easiest set up’s I ever had putting something together. Looks good on the bed, great height not too short. The only negative was the delivery. The person who delivered it put it on my ping pong table inside my garage. Not comfortable with anyone walking into my garage without me around. The distance to my front door and garage is the same. My front door has an overhang and it was a beautiful day, so rain is was not the issue. Would have been 5 stars without that concern happening.

I chose the tobacco color and it was exactly what i had thought it would look like in person. It is sturdy when put together and looks to be good quality in my opinion. My head board arrived in great condition and the stain on the wood was even in color. Overall I’m happy with the color, sturdiness, and ease of putting it together.

I truly can't think of anything I've regretted buying more (online or in person more). If I didn't have a 3 year old begging for it to be put together I would have put it right back in its box and tried to figure out how to ship it back. It is truly an awful piece of 'furniture'. I guess this falls under the 'you get what you pay for category' because while I didn't pay much relatively speaking, I certainly didn't get much either. The packaging was fine, a box within a box. It came with 3 pieces (headboard, 2 legs) plus a box of hardware. The first thing that I notices is that there were a number of cracks on the front and back of the headboard. I probably could have made due with ones on the back-but the ones on the front are completely noticeable. The installation was *relatively* easy-I put the legs on wrong 2 different times. That was my fault, not the products. On the bright side it was only undoing 4 screws each time. I bought this to attach to an existing metal bed frame, which I checked to be possible before buying. It attaches, barely, and is incredibly flimsy. I did everything I could to get the holes to line up to the frame and to make sure that all the bolts were tightened. I did not feel that this piece was secure enough to be placed even 6 inches away from the wall, so I had to reconfigure my daughters room (didn't want the register being covered) to make sure that this headboard was against a wall.I am embarrassed. Embarrassed for having bought this, and for the company that they would even sell this to customers. Had I seen this in person I would not have paid a dime for it. I will contact the company to see about replacing, but I don't even know that I want a replacement. I have serious concerns about its safety especially given it is for my daughter. Again, buyer beware. I wanted an inexpensive, short term solution for my daughters room. I did not realize just how short term it would be.

After reading some of the reviews I seem to have received a good one. It came without any scratches or other damage. Assembly required. I had to tap a couple of the barrel nuts in place but that can be expected. Attached perfectly to the standard metal Saatva frame I ordered. I am a satisfied customer.

I bought it because I loved the look, it was the right height headboard and the color was what I wanted.It was a bonus that it was delivered in just 2 weeks and it is well made. I had a little trouble getting the 2 bottom bolts in to the barrel receiver thingy, but when my son tried they went right in. So it was me that caused the trouble. Lol. I would buy it again. Thanks

I read the reviews so I knew what I to possibly expect. While it was packaged well, it still had scratches on it. It looks easy to assemble but it was not.. It also didn't line up properly, leaving gaps at the top. Others complained about it not mounting to the bed frame and was flimsy. Mine mounted well with my frame and for the flimsy part, I use some Styrofoam from the box and attached it to the back of the headboard and pushed it against the wall and that worked for me. LOLI am using it in a guest bedroom, so for me, it is more about the overall look. Once the bed was all together I was pleased.
