Cute, durable, BIG cage for the hamsters! Holes are small enough that they can't get out and feet don't get caught. We've had it for over a year now and they don't chew on it and love the space! I only wish they made them stackable to save space in our home!

I would give a 5 star to this cage. Great service, arrived very fast as promised.Also a great cage. Light and beautiful and it will serve the purpose for a small pet.But I purchased for a Guinea pig. Enough space and fun up till the chewing comes to play. She chew on wood toys as they should. So the cage is just a big toy for her to work her way from inside out.It was a big waste of money as I can’t return any more. The pictures are after 2 days of her being in the cage. But lesson learned.So if you want this for a pet that needs yo chew for maintenance of their teeth. Do not buy this. If it’s for anything else please do but. It’s a beautiful great cage.I wish I thought about this before I purchased or use it. It was pretty expensive for something that I used for one week only.

We got this for our Russian Dwarf Hamster and she absolutely loves it. It allows enough space in the bottom for her to burrow and scavenge. My only gripe is that it does lack some pilot holes and can be a pain to assemble in some spots. We didn't even put the top latch on or build the little hides that came with it because of this. If they actually used pilot holes where needed, it would've been 5 stars.

Purchased this item for our pet button quail. Very roomy for small ground dwelling birds, easy to clean. They love climbing the ramps and using the tiny houses to lay their eggs in for easy collection. Simple to put together. My power drill was dead, but I was able to assemble with only a Phillips head and a hammer. I would not recommend for rodents however due to how soft the wood is. If your animal can chew, it can escape. But for birds, this is a lovely cage. Comfortably houses 10 button quail.

This is a truly beautiful cage but definitely not for a hamster or any other animal that chews unfortunately. The size is fantastic but our hamster is about to chew her way out of it. We have already reinforced some areas with metal but the hamster keeps finding different areas to chew her way through. We may try to reinforce it some more because we are having a difficult time finding anything that we like as much, but for the price, we feel that we shouldn't have to go to all of this trouble and additional expense.

I would not recommend this product at all. We bought it for my daughters hamster and the night she was put in it she started chewing the cage. I have put tons of toys and chewing things for her along with her large running wheel ans she still chews the cage. I am afradi she will chew a hole through it soon and escape. She has chewed it so much the nails and screws are showing through.

Just finished putting this beautiful large cage together, 32 yr old female, very easy and simple just follow instructions. Going to be a nice cozy home for our 2 robo hamsters, VERY pleased with the purchase!

We added metal brackets and wood triangles in all interior corners. Wheels are metal which is nice but putting them into the 1/4" wood in the bottom and moving it they would have stripped out and fell off. We used longer dowel rods and predrilled bigger holes to put them in. Dowel rods are only 1/2" We used 5/8" ones. If you want it to last and be able to move it without it falling apart be ready to modify. overall the siberian hamster we have love the larger space. She sits on the top level and waits for my daughter to feed her and or pull her out to play. My man has a carpentry/construction background and we are very lucky to have him.
