Vornado Pivot Personal Air Circulator Fan, 6-inch, Quiet Portable Travel Fan, 3 Speeds, Champagne

This fan is great at doing what it is designed to do (moving a small-medium amount of air with relatively low noise). This is a small fan and is not going to compete with a large fan for moving large amounts of air, but that is not what I purchased it for. I purchased this fan to use at speaking engagements. As a man that is carrying more weight than I should, I sweat more than most people. I also have to talk in from of crowds more than most people do. This last weekend was the first time I used the fan at a speaking engagement and it worked very well. I had it on the table next to the podium aiming in the direction of the speaker. I ran the fan on the medium setting which provided enough airflow to keep me cool while also being very quiet. On the lowest setting, the fan is almost silent and provides enough air for a person sitting at a desk. On the medium setting, the fan is fairly quiet and provides airflow to a distance of 8-10 feet. On the high setting, the fan is quite loud (all fans are loud on high) and will provide quite a bit of airflow. Again, this will not compete with a large box fan, but that is not what it is designed to do. The fan direction is easily adjustable, but it does not oscillate. Overall, this is a great small, portable fan that works very well for cooling a single person. I would recommend this fan to anyone without reservation.

Tornado has great products. I have a lot of vornado fans in my house. This one is adorable. it's perfect on your desk and you can pick the color. It's quality and puts out a lot of air and its three speed Plus you can tilt it any way you want. Great seller and fast shipment.

Design - 5/5 Construction - 5/5 Air Flow - 3/5 Noise - 2/5 DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION (5/5) A really nice looking fan with a retro (50's-70's era) design. Very small footprint. Metal base with transparent rubber stoppers to prevent the unit from moving or rattling on surfaces like glass. The housing is make of a very hard plastic and is mounted to the metal base with this same plastic. One would have an hard time trying to snap this, let alone the idea of it happening by accident. AIRFLOW & NOISE (3/5) I own one of the Zippis and I had expected a little more air movement out of this model. While it beats the Zippi on the highest setting (barely)... -- The low setting seems to barely move any air -- I can barely feel the wind hit my face from 12 in. away on my desk. I couldn't imagine this setting being helpful when it starts reaching 90 degrees in a month or so. Very little noise at this level, though. -- The medium setting pushes maybe 33% more air and is definitely louder than or as loud as the high Zippi setting -- The high setting is incredibly loud for a ***desk fan***, and it doesn't seem to move much more air than the medium setting (maybe 40-45% more than the low setting) As someone who games with people online, there's no way I'll be able to use this fan on high while in chat. I'd be surprised if the medium setting works out. It's more likely that I'll be relying on my floor fan in this scenario. Good enough for coding with headphones on, I guess. CONCLUSION (4/5) All in all, it functions, the build seems to be very solid, and it only cost $20 (at the time I purchased it)...but it is still a little disappointing when you hear this thing run.

Just received this today. I didn’t believe it could be a true desk top fan, and it is. It is so small, there are many places it can be used. In our trailer we have zero floor space and limited vanity space. I took it out of the box, turned it on, and impressed with how quiet it is. It makes sense that the air flow is limited on high setting, as it is so small. For the bedroom space I think it will do the job. Best of all, when a fan needed overnight, we can leave this one on because of how quiet it is. If anything goes awry, I will edit this review. For now am delighted.

I needed a white noise machine. This is literally the white noise machine I've been looking for (white and copper actually). As far as function, it's perfect. I have it on medium setting and it creates a decent breeze. It's also extremely sturdy, not likely to be knocked over by my cats or my clumsy self, and it's very cute.

I didn’t really like the flimsy build quality of this fan. Aesthetically it’s not bad looking but it feels like it’s going to break down any moment. Furthermore, the fan is louder than some of the other bigger Vornado fans I’ve had on the past. Air flow is good but all in all other Vornado fans are much better than this. Angle not being adjustable is also an issue, you must have this at the correct height to be able to feel the air as the angle is not changeable. The good things about this, it looks pretty good in my opinion and doesn’t take up too much space, for the size the air flow is pretty good. I use it on highest setting as the other lower 2 settings feel too low. Tia is more of a personal fan so it works best on a working desk or office environment. Good fan but i think other Vornado are better, for the price it’s pretty good.

I don’t get the negative reviews here that say this fan has no power. It’s a very small fan, yet I definitely can feel a breeze. I use it to keep air moving so my succulents don’t develop mold issues. It’s quiet and small and perfect for what I need. I would also use it as a nightstand fan or if I wanted low grade white noise.

I'm not sure what others are complaining about in these reviews...this fan is compact, super attractive, not loud at all, and it moves plenty of air. This thing sits 2 feet away from me on my desk and it produces the perfect focused stream of air that keeps me cool, but is still so well directed that it doesn't bother my hair OR the papers laying on my desk. It does not vibrate or buzz like the cheap Honeywell I used to have, and it does not "wander" around the desk, either. The base is cute/interesting, and the rubber rings around it DO keep the fan securely where I put it. I'm wondering if other buyers are expecting it to move as much air as a floor fan - and if so, they are not being realistic. As a floor fan or a serious air mover, this will disappoint you, because it isn't designed to be a serious air mover. It's designed to be the perfect desk fan, and in my opinion, they nailed it. I have yet to need it on more than a 1....and 3 makes my shirt flap in the wind.

buen ventilador de escritorio, ya tengo bastante con el y sigue en el mismo estado en el que se adquirio. por aquello de que en reviews indicaba que con el tiempo se hacia mas ruidoso. eso si la potencia es moderada

Excelente! A descrição do vendedor condiz com as reais características do produto. É potente para um circulador de ar pequeno (de mesa) e quando coloco na velocidade máxima a ventilação é percebida na distância de até 1,5mt. Observação: o som da ventilação no vídeo parece mais alto do que é na realidade (usei um iPhone para gravar).
