Great replacement in my 2020 Traverse! I can use Apple Carplay again!
My daughter plugged her phone charger into my 2020 Traverse front usb and the whole port stopped working. It’s been almost six months of no Apple Carplay because I haven’t had the time to sit for the two hour diagnostic that my car dealership said would need to be done to tell what the problem was, despite me telling them the story, or wanted to pay what it would probably cost. I figured it was a fuse, but after some searching with no luck, I decided to try to replace the actual port. I’m a woman with the desire to fix things myself but often have to ask my husband for help. I watched a YouTube video, bought this replacement plus a cheap set of plastic car interior tools, and got the old usb out and put this new one in, in less than 5 minutes. Worked like a charm and now I can use maps and other features of Apple Carplay again! Very pleased!!

Resolved connectivity issues with phone to car USB
While phones were plugged in to OEM USB we would lose connections with gps and CarPlay apps, Replaced with this OEM receptacle and problem resolved itself.
