The flavor is out of this world. A tad spicy for beginners but it wasn’t so hot that I wanted to stop chowing it down!

I followed the instructions except I micro'd for 4 min since I find the rice noodles instants are hard to soften. It is supposed to be more stir fry than soup. Very very tasty. A little salty with a hint of spice behind. Not not super spicy...just enough for mild taste lovers. At 4 min the ramen noodle was a little soft but rice cakes perfect. 1 star off b/c price a little higher than my normal noodle but worth it. Flavor was very good using instructions. Enjoy!

Great tteokbokki & great ramen. The flavor is really good & isn't overly spicy like other tteokbokki I've tried. Portion size is bigger than expected & easy to make. Includes English directions as well :) I enjoy the sweet and spicy flavor too.

I went to a Korean restaurant in Manhattan two days before I ordered this. Loved the bean flavor, the thickness of the noodles, and I wanted to buy some but forgot to take photo of ramen package. So, I went onto Amazon and found this company. I bought the Yopokki Jjajang and it’s instant so I knew it wouldn’t be as good as boiling it. It’s too sweet, does not taste anything like beans, and the rice was too chewy (unless that’s how it’s supposed to be). The noodle texture was iffy and didn’t remind me of the ramen I had fallen in love with. Ah well, the search continues. Sorry for long review but just want to encourage others to consider before buying.

It came out great. The jjang sauce was tasty, the rice stick was chewy yummy and the ramen had a nice slide to it. I wanted to eat two cups but I resisted. This is a great treat rain or shine.

Exactly what I expected except better. Soak rice cakes for 20 mins or so first for softer texture. Add the cutest little packet of noodles and the seasoning packet later and microwave. Rice cakes will get hard if you microwave for too long.
