First time bar soap maker.
This soap base worked well on my old skin. I have been looking for an exfoliant bar soap but just couldnāt find the right one for me. So with a little bit of reading reviews and online videos I put together a recipe. Three lbs base, 3 tbsp medium grind pumice, 1 tbsp black mice colorant, 1/4 oz cedar oil. Nice smelling, gray color bar of soap that strips away dead skin cells and leaves my skin feeling great. Thanks for selling this base and turning me on to soap making.

GREAT SOAP BASE & FOR A PRETTY FAIR PRICE, TOO! I'M PLANNING TO BUY MORE!
I've been having a difficult time finding a clear enough soap (as well as one a bit cheaper than the Crown Jewels!) for embedding items in my baby-related soap bars. MY LAST EXPERIENCE: I found what I thought was a 'good deal' on a 5# block of clear soap, ordered it and in due time it arrived. It might just as well been April 1st when I opened it--and I was definitely THE FOOL!! I never saw such yellow STUFF purporting to be CLEAR Melt & Pour! It was basically OK if you didn't need clear. So I did use it in several other items that it worked out in, such as Oatmeal/Honey Facial Bars; French Vanilla Coffee Bars; Soap Petals: "Clear", Colored in Molds; etc. But I was STILL in need of a GOOD, Non-Yellow, CLEAR Melt & Pour, Glycerin as a supply that I won't have to take out a loan my grand kids'll be paying off when I'm gone. Hobbies are supposed to be fun-not give you strokes, migraines, heart-attacks, & appoplexy!! Enter ZenseMe 5.5# Clear Glycerin Soap Base! On the Website it looked like it was nice and clear, the price wasn't crippling (There was even an "extra" 1/2# compared to all the others). When it came (which was fast) it WAS NICE and CLEAR, as PROMISED. It was also packaged in the NICEST, heavy-gauge BOX, too. (A NICE HEAVY BOX, I can always find a use for, even if it's only to put away for the next gift that will fit it for birthday or Christmas.) All the others either came wrapped only in thin cellophane, in flimsy plastic boxes, or (a bit better) plastic tubs (at least you can recycle plastic tubs) . Now, I have a NEW "GO TO" BRAND for my CLEAR SOAP BASE. It has a lovely thick lather, mixes well with other additives and sets up nicely in the mold, just like you'd expect from a good quality soap. I know now who I'll be buying my clear glycerin melt & pour soap from, as long as they keep their prices in check. A few cents on the ounce are handlable, for a while at least. I'll e looking into different styles of soaps theyr may make as soon as I submit this review. As of now, I'm very pleased with the quality all across the board of their soap. I did hold back the one star in the last category: Value for Money: Due to the fact that it COULD be a bit lower in price and still be competitive. It seems to be in the soaps, that as soon as you get into a little bit of good value, the manufacturers seem to want to "make a killing" on every sale instead of being a little patient and giving the consumer a break for a change. We're all struggling with the economy, you know, try being part of a remedy once in a while instead of always having the claws out and grabbing at the consumers. You keep this aggressiveness going like this and we, the consumer will get fed up and you, the retailer will NOT like the result. It's happened before. Remember: Those who forget history, are doomed to repeat it!

Two Thumbs Up! Great Soap Base!
I am switching my melt and pour goat's milk soap base to ZenseMe. I like it so much I am trying some of their other products too. I make a lot of goat's milk soap. I am currently in the process of making one hundred soaps. This is the only melt and pour base that I have found that has goat's milk as the first ingredient. It is the first base that I have used that has a nice, pleasant scent on its own. It melts easily and it is siIky smooth. I highly recommend this soap. I have already told passed on their name on.

Cuts and melts great!
The only offput for me is you get a tropical punch smell right off the bat. I just used extra oils. But it works really well. Three 30 mins bursts I'm my 1000 watt microwave was perfect for me. The white base makes nice pastel colors. Once it is heated that punch smell was better but meh. Washing with this soap makes an amazing frothy lather. It leaves me skin soft not dry! I will try another brand next time bc the plain odor was meh. Otherwise it's a good soap!!

The Best Base!
I was looking for a soap base that didnāt use palm oil. I was happy to find this one! Rich, creamy scent. Beautiful lather. High goat milk content. Super easy to pour and use, very cost effective for my little shop. I was able to make my soaps in a few hours, no problem! It does set fast, but the results are gorgeous. The soap is great on the skin, hair, and face⦠I wish I knew their recipe!

Really didn't care for it. You must move quickly to use this soap and it's sticky!
This soap starts tracing and hardening inside the pot prior to the remaining of it melting even while stirring constantly, and even when you use the microwave, you literally have seconds to add your fragrance and pour. I also didn't like the stickiness and the smell of it turned my stomach but it does smell exactly like cow's milk. It's packaged nicely but that's about it. If you want a quick soap, this is it, but it is not for me.

Great melt & pour soap
Been making soap for about 60 years, mainly old school, what is called cold process now. Tried this brand goats milk soap for presents. They loved it. So this makes my 3rd purchase. No SLS/SLES or palm oil is what I wanted. Lathers well, moisturizing to the skin without the filmy feeling. Takes essential oils well along with mica to color it. Does set up really quick so move fast. But also can remelt if necessary. Nice to make pretty bars.
