Excellent multi coloured photography and video light. Easy to use and and control and is very bright. The cold shoe is very sturdy and easy to mount and gives out an impressive brightness for its small and portable size. Battery lasts for a good time as well, obviously this depends on the brightness you have it set to.

I am brand consultant and creative director. We film documentaries and tons of social media content, and also creating course content and personal branding photoshoot. This light delivers in every scenario mentioned. As we have to film on the go, we like to keep our camera bags light. As this light can be combined with a few other and it can form a panel it makes it an ideal transformer solution. From adding small light sources to the set to create a portrait light for the interview.Buttery life decent, and it can be used along with powerbank. Colour options are great. Easy to carry around. The intensity of light on 100% is very bright, with a few light together can form an equivalent of the studio light, great functionality.

I use this to light a plain cloth backdrop, to mask out a small untidy filming set, and it does the job. Adds more interest to an otherwise boring background.

Honestly very cool. Any review that says it isn't bright probably didn't have the brightness up. In daylight situations it obviously wont show up much, but even when I used it in open side car parks it still helped a bit. Havent tried it properly in the dark but I can imagine that it is extremely good, and the various colours and modes make it very useful for the price

As you can see in the photos above, I needed to improve my lighting for filming at night. This Neewer light ticked all the boxes for my needs.Great colour range and brightness, with the added cold shoe and 1/4" thread for tripods plus a magnetic back, there is nowhere I can't set this light up.Function's are straight forward to use once you've read the instructions or play with it for 10 minutes.Overall a great addition for a brilliant price.

Overall, this isn't too bad for the money.It's been good for some video work I've been doing and is a good backup light. I like the diffuser because it spreads the light evenly.As a secondary light source for photography, it's good for close up work when you need to fill in shadows.Overall, not too bad.

Plenty of colour settings, tones and hues to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised by it's max brightness, way more than I had anticipated!Initially it will take a bit of faff getting the desired setting, but the unit will remember your last setting after being turned off (ideal should you be using this for the same purpose time and time again).Battery life served me well for an hour.Bargain!

I think Neewer create rally usefull and good products to a fair price. This lamp is no exception. Tried it for the first time photographing an event with iver 500 people and it performed great.There are a bunch of options to customise the color of the light and for my intended purpouse it gets more than bright enough

I haven't used this light extensively for a long period of time, but here are my thoughts so far:For the price, the overall quality and performance is impressive. What surprised me the most is that it does not seem to overheat. From what I can tell so far, even at a higher brightness, this light has done a good job keeping its cool. As a test, I left it on indoors at 100% brightness for just over half an hour, on a day with 32C-90F weather, and it did get noticeably quite warm, but not enough to make it uncomfortable to touch.It is compact and easy to use, and doesn't take an incredibly long time to charge. I can't speak for durability yet. The build does not feel flimsy at all. I've only knocked it over onto a carpeted floor once while on a tripod, with no visible negative effects. Here's hoping it can withstand many more drops.The colour and brightness steps could be smoother. They're completely fine for any general photography, really, so it gets the job done fine. But if you're someone who is a stickler for very fine control, this might leave you just a little wanting.The worst thing so far, without it even being THAT bad, is that at lower light settings, such as within 10%, I've noticed a slight flicker. This won't really affect still photographs negatively, but I can imagine it being slightly inconvenient for video. It seems to vary, and not happen constantly. But it's something to keep in mind. (This also seems to have happened with certain colours, but I haven't confirmed that yet)Overall, I recommend it! If you're on a budget and just need a simple light to get the job done, and you aren't worried about flawless colour/brightness accuracy, and don't mind a margin of error for steady brightness, then this'll get you by just fine.
