I have a lot of journals and notebooks at home. I’ve wanted to start journaling since I was a kid, but could never commit to it. As an adult, every time I tried, I put it down, and a big factor was the journal I was using. Many are unpleasant to write it; they’re either incredibly elegant and you want to save it for something special, or the page sizes aren’t right, the binding is to thick or thin, the design is too bland, or there’s just something about the page that doesn’t sit right with you.This journal, on the other hand, I’m excited to keep going! Paired with a comfortable pen, it’s all perfectly right. It’s not too thick, but not too thin, it’s flexible, it’s elegant without being so overly elegant that you don’t want to use it, and fits nicely wherever you want to store it. On a shelf or on a table, it blends nicely, and it’s thin and flexible enough to keep in a drawer too. I’m only a few pages in, but I haven’t had an issue with ink bleeding through. All in all, it’s a practical, functional journal or notebook that isn’t bulky, isn’t too grand or too bland, and makes you look forward to the next entry!

Color is perfect. It was a great gift. It looks rustic and valuable. Smells, looks and feels like leather. Good quality paper inside.

So good I came back and bought extras for the years to come. I was hesitant at first, not sure if I would like the design on the cover, but it is perfect. The quality construction, the soft binding, even the bookmark. This will hold a lot of memories.

This book is large enough to provide meaningful space to write or draw in, without making it hard to carry. It fits well into a large jacket pocket or messenger bag nicely. This isn’t a back pocket hipster notebook. This journal is what I would imagine Dr. Jones using for a field notebook. It’s honestly the perfect size. The paper and binding are nice and the embossing on the cover is very Celtic or Nordic, and will look really cool as it weathers. The silk page marker is handy. The only thing I wish it had was some sort of closure, but it’s nothing a decent rubber band can’t handle. It’s light, well appointed, and well suited for daily exploration or for recording thoughts during quiet moments.

I was excited for this journal however the cover bowed all in its own just sitting on a flat table. Not the best quality but u get what u pay for and the cover does look nice. Nice pages

This is a beautiful leather journal. It is a convenient size and can be carried in your purse/ laptop bag. Highly recommend this journal.
