Great chess pieces!
Beautiful wood pieces, and very reasonably priced. Goes super well with our wood chess board. The felt bottom is a great feature as well. Overall, super happy with this purchase!

Great entry level set
Perfect entry level set. This is a basic, well carved Staunton set. Nothing fancy, German style knights. They're not super heavy, if I had to guess I'd say single weighted. They're well made and went great for my travel set.

Excellent.
We had ordered a board that came with cheap pieces so we ordered these separately. As you can see in the video, these have a nice size and weight to them with a lovely green felt bottom. These feel very well built, the quality is exceptional for the price. Function as expected.

Excellent
The pieces are uniform and well made for a 1.75 -2” square. The piece are well crafted, weighted properly, and feel nice to hold. The King is just over 3.75” and the knights are beautiful. Worth the money. Don’t hesitate to purchase. BTW: I tried four other less expensive chess sets before landing this set. The others were too small, weren’t weighted properly, and uncomfortable to use. Hope this helps!

No extra Queens.
Nothing wrong with the set, they are nice. I just wish I would have read more carefully that it didn't include extra queens. Just a heads up if for anyone who just assumed like me.

Nice set.
This is an above average set. The wood finish is nice and the pieces are well cut and just look nice. I would not be embarrassed to have this set on display.

I do not recommend...
In general the wood pieces are nicely sized and shaped. It fits by all wood board perfectly. I have several problems for which I must return and are unacceptable. First I noticed both king pieces were not sitting level in the board. The problem is the weight inserted in the bottom sticks out a little and the green felt in the base pushes out which causes the problem. I then noticed the one king piece is very unevenly shaped. It is much worse then the picture I've included. I also had to reseat a piece of felt on the bottom of a pawn. I would be fine with everything if not for the problem with the kings. Now I need to send back the entire set.
