The device seems to be of good quality and works well, I haven't had any problems so far.

Have an older setup and when I went to install a new dishwasher, I wanted to add a GFCI outlet, but there was just not enough wire and the current outlet was a split for dishwasher and garbage disposal. Thought I would give this a shot and it works perfect for the addition of the new dishwasher.

This works great and so much simpler than hard wiring a GFCI. Using it for plugging in a Dolphin pool cleaner. The reset button is so much nicer and easier than on a wired unit. I added an exterior multi plug in order to plug in a fountain as well.

While vacuuming my flooded basement with a wet/dry vac, I suddenly realized I was standing on damp concrete while plugging and unplugging the vacuum and flipping the switch whenever emptying the canister. Maybe it was imaginary, but I suddenly thought I felt some tingling in my hand so I realized I needed to buy a GFCI Plug to hopefully protect me. The GFCI quality does feel as if it is made with cheap plastic, but when plugged in and the test button is pressed, it does trip the GFCI. I can only hope that it really works.

I occasionally use a 120V to 100V stepdown transformer with a cooking appliance or a tool such as a spinning knife sharpener purchased from Japan on our patio.The transformer is connected to a GFCI AC outlet but the load side is not protected by the outlet's GFCI.This adapter is a perfect fit to the transformer and the pilot lump helps check the status.

I shorted it 3 different ways, and each time it worked, including GFCI tester tool. If you're using a multi-outlet adapter for all your fish tank equipment, consider this item. It can save your life!

The Gfci Outlet works perfectly for the application that I chose.
