Came off in a weeks time
I have this installed on my sliding door using the sticky pad and the solution provided. However it was not strong enough to hold or stop the child to slide th door once and the sticky side came off. If you planning to use screws instead probably will be better.

Stronger adhesive needed
Used to lock sliding door, adhesive not strong enough to retain sticker. No longer using this, now broken.
