This file case works fine and I'm happy with it.

Sturdy storage box

I purchased this because I have a similar portable file box that I like very much. This one seems fine — although the plastic seems less sturdy than the much older one I already have, and the latches feel lighter and less durable. Overall, I’m quite happy with this purchase.Prior to buying it, I noticed multiple reviews that complained about difficulties removing the label. Believe them! Not only is the label extremely difficult to remove, it’s placed on an area with ridges — meaning adhesive and bits of paper got stuck in the grooves. In the end, I ripped off the top layer of the label; Saturated the remaining adhesive with oil; and Returned in about an hour with alcohol pads — that, with some effort, removed the adhesive completely.It’s a decent file box that I’m happy with. It’s bizarre, though, that a company that specializes in office supplies has chosen to use such problematic labels.

A nice file box. I use it to store my husbands and mine medications. the right size. Good value and does the job.

My father passed away recently and I had to tend to a lot of my mothers and fathers financial issues and stuff like that.My desk was covered up with tons of documents, etc.. My daughter, a lawyer, suggested this. It was a godsend I was able to travel to see my mom and have all the papers at my fingertips, and kept my business separate. It's been eight months now and I still use it regularly.

One of the clasps broke immediately after I got it.I was too lazy to change it, though, and otherwise it has done the job of holding files.Probably would not recommend, all the same. It's not very well-made.

Is a very sturdy box has good side rails for the hanging folders. Would buy it again.
