This has become my favorite finishing salt. I use the herb salt on fried eggs, avocado toast, steaks, and so many other things. It's really delicious.The quality is amazing. It has a light, flaky texture and adds a little crunch.The plain salt from this brand is equally excellent. Highly recommended!

If you enjoy cooking like I do, having a great finishing salt is a must. Salt is the key to flavor, and one way to improve that is by purchasing a better tasting salt like this one.For me, I still use the typical kosher salt for the dish, and finish with a dash of this on top. Keep that in mind and depending on what you're making, season a little lighter than you would normally.My only complaint about this is the cork lid - while cute - literally just sits on top of the container, so it could easily be spilled. This should be improved.

I have purchased this finishing salt several times after receiving it as a housewarming gift from a girlfriend. She packaged it with a lovely wooden box I keep near the stove. It is the perfect accoutrement for soups, pastas, meats and fish. Love!
