Why did you choose this product over others?: Recommendations . It really is a good nib for drawing, extra fine and medium lines. Definitely buy again, but i did get ten in a box already!

I bought these nibs to modify a cheap Jinhao fountain pen after seeing someone else who had modified theirs to create an amazing flex pen. The flex is fantastic, but for a beginner, it might be a struggle to get used to the untipped nib that can easily catch the paper and mess up your writing. I like to think I have gotten used to this and now know how to prevent it from catching, but still not perfect at mastering it yet. The only way these nibs could be better is if the nibs were tipped with a super fine tip. Ps, in the picture, the paper is rubbish quality and makes the ink bleed a lot

My first time EVER using a flex and I'm instantly obsessed! Can't stop watching it's precise, elegant flow which is absolutely mesmerising. You can't help but write beautifully, it leads the way for you. Slotted easily into a v v v cheap dip pen holder and that's it. Was worried it would scratch paper and take ages to adapt but oh my, it's beauuuuuuuuutiful, really is love at first flex. I know what I'll be doing all day every day. Can't wait to try with some seriously good ink in daylight. Get them people, you won't be disappointed :)

I love these nibs and am planning to ink a comic using them, as well as some maru/mapping pens. Easy to use if you're used to lineart (I started digitally) though I do recommend practising anyway just for better hand control. Will probably not be as easy for total beginners to art (people who aren't able to vary pressure, for example in pencils) so you'll need some patience. My nib broke after some jostling in my bag so a cap or other method of safe storage is vital. I use it with a Tachikawa T-40 with no issue and now I keep it in my pencil case to stop it from breaking. If the nib has anything less than perfect flow and drops ink heavily/often, it's definitely been damaged and you might need to throw it away.

Mi sono avvicinato da poco ai pennini (prima solo stilografiche o fineliner) e ne ho provati pochi perchè estremamente insoddisfatto del risultato. Ovviamente avevo scelto prodotti scadenti che costavano pochissimo e valevano altrettanto... Già dal primo utilizzo questi pennini mi hanno conquistato, non necessitano di particolari trattamenti (ho letto di tutto a riguardo... pulirli con l'alcool, scaldarli con il fiammifero, scartavetrarli...). Io appena aperto la scatolina l'ho montato sul portapennino, l'ho intinto nell'inchiostro e via col liscio. Il tratto va dal molto fino (se hai la mano giusta simile a micron 005) al cicciotto. Non è morbido, quindi bisogna fargli sentire un po' la presenza per allargare il tratto, ma meglio così a mio avviso se lo si usa per disegno. Per calligrafia forse sarebbe meglio uno più morbido. Non ho provato tanti inchiostri, ma per i miei gusti il top è il pelikan 4001 che purtroppo non è waterproof. Waterman troppo fluido (fatica a restare sul pennino) e la china pelikan un po' troppo densa, potrei aggiungere dell'acqua ma schiarirebbe. Ripeto, pelikan 4001 viscosità perfetta, prezzo nella norma e reperibilità elevata. Pucci il pennino e riesci a scrivere/disegnare un bel po' prima di dover tocciare di nuovo. Spedizione dei pennini (10 in una microscatolina tenuta chiusa da un elastico) in busta imbottita tramite Japan post, arrivati in 24 giorni (previsto da 20 a 30 giorni). Spero durino parecchio, in caso non esiterò a ricomprarli!

Te stalówki doskonale nadają się do rysowania. Są ostrzejsze niż wersja tytanowa, a to, czy jest to zaletą czy wadą, każdy musi ocenić sam. Dla mnie Zebra G w tej wersji jest lepsza – oczywiście do rysunku.

Ik heb deze penpunten gekocht om te gebruiken in een vulpen. Ik heb een Jinhao x750 voorzien van een G nib en dat werkt. Helaas kan de inkttoevoer van de vulpen de inktbehoefte van de G nib niet goed bijhouden en kan je steeds maar een paar woorden schrijven voordat de inkt toevoer weer even op gang moet komen.
