Does the butane propane mix gas burn unevenly? i have been using this gas an wonder if it is the gas or the torch that is playing up?

Yes I have found the same problem with this torch. It will blow it self out if you are moving it around the product quickly, I tend to use a lower flame setting as this will last longer before going out. I am not sure if it is the torch head design or the gas is at fault, but I will be using a different butane gas maker in my next buy.

Will this fit on a trangia and go system gs2000 gas burner?

It should do with he right adaptor. It fits my Trangia 27/9 storm cooker stove
