Either that child is an impostor or we have, at last, found a genre he likes. The size of the book and the fact that he finished it so quickly has boosted his confidence and I am now shopping for something similar. The book completely captured his imagination and made him gasp and laugh out loud. Well Done Dan - I predict Trayaurus toys at Xmas. Review: Actually got my Son reading for pleasure!! - Oh my goodness, if I could give this more than 5 stars I would! My son asked for this a while back but I (wrongly) assumed it would be the usual tosh written by a celebrity trying to cash in on their fame. Anyway, my son (7 years old) wanted to be Dan TDM for world book day next week so asked again for the book and so I thought ok then, but felt a little begrudging about spending £8 when we already have so many books in the house that he could choose from. It arrived at about 10am this morning and my son then spent the next 4 hrs, completely unprompted, reading this from cover to cover! This never happens!! While my son is a capable reader he would never choose to read and it's a battle each evening to get him to read just a few pages of his school reading book. This is the first book he has read just for the pleasure of reading. Thank you Dan so much for writing it. It was the best £8 I have ever spent. He's told me all about the story with great enthusiasm. So although I haven't read it myself I can say that it comes highly recommended by a 7 year old boy. *** update: Fraser (FrazMozz) really wanted to send Dan TDM a picture he'd drawn and a letter but I can't find a fan-mail address so thought I'd post it on here. Fingers crossed he reads his reviews! x

Great, I suppose
Happy to give DanTDM another couple of quid by buying this book as I hear he’s struggling for cash! My boy read this from cover to cover non stop and loved it. Great value in that regard. Now, I bet there’s another couple of hrs of YouTube videos for me to endure, er, I mean enjoy. :-/

So Exciting!
Just purchased this as a gift for my 7 year old daughters upcoming birthday. She is a massive Dan TDM fan and has asked for his first book. It's a very high quality and thick hardback book. I've had a flick through and the pages are made of very good quality thick paper. It's a graphic novel (comic strip style story). The illustrations are wonderful! I'm sure my daughter is gonna love it! Will get her to update this review once she's had a read.

Decent!
Amazing book for children BUT not happy with how the writing was less. I know Dan has a lot of younger fans ages 3-5 plus but over 5 most children can read way more than a few words on each page. My brother finished reading the whole book within a half an hour or so. Don't want to be so negative about it but wish there was way more writing BUT we do love the drawings. Thank You!

My son is a big Fan TDM fan so he loved this book. It was a quick read but he has gone back to it several times

Excellent experience
I bought this book for my ten-year old son who found about it from one of his favorite youtubers. He found the amazing as he described it, and he was describing it in excited terms. The book described a scenario in Minecraft. To me that was good to use something that my son likes (Minecraft) and make him read about it to get him off the electronic media and for him to use his imagination not only his visuals. I think this youtuber is on to something.

This book really left me excited and waiting for more. I also watch Dan as a YouTuber so I was really excited when I saw this book. I just wanna say if you get this book then you will enjoy it.

A mi hija le gustaba tanto lo visual, parecido a un comic, como la narrativa aunque le pareció poco. Creo que no tardó mas de dos horas en terminar el libro completa y por 18€.
