New paint formula from Vallejo in the new style bottles. The paint performs better than the previous manufacturing process. Easier to thin, mix and blend. Easily reduced for airbrush use. Especially good version because it doesn’t contain the step-by-step by lame and overrated “celebrity” miniature painter Jaime Ortiz, Mr. One Trick Pony who makes all skin highlights washed out like chalk.

Buying from 'amazon.com' seller got me the newer line of model paints.New line of paints is great and they speak for themselves. Plenty of youtube reviews for those that are interested.

Great coverage in one or two coats on average. Some of the lighter shades might need three or a better base coat. The colors are so nice and even looking, don't show brush strokes, and gives a smooth look to it. It absolutely love these paints and plan to buy their big pack of 80 colors.

Vallejo produces some of the best acrylics out there. Airbrushing is the tough nut to crack in this arena so I have used a variety of brands. Vallejo is always in the top 5. This set will require thinning/prep before running through any fine airbrushes but the quality is such that thinning (with the proper Vallejo thinner and flow improver) is not an issue.The color choices cover nearly every variety out there, except Ogres...

Good colors for skin tones. You still are going to want to experiment with some other colors but if you're looking for standard-ish skin tones, these will have you covered. Add some purple or green for Orcs or Gobbies and you can really get some cool looks.
