Good for cooking and cleaning glass, okay for descaling kettle.

I have purchased white vinegar in this size for a few years now and fill smaller bottles for kitchen cleaning use or washing machine/dishwasher and I also spray it onto salads etc. So many multiple uses for this. It is great as an alternative to fabric conditioner when you are washing whites as it softens your towels etc without spoiling the texture when dry and your towels aren't rock hard either! I will continue to purchase and would highly recommend.

Good price for bulk "white vinegar" or dilute ascetic acid as it is. Perfect for my requirements of cleaning and descaling. No strong smell as you would get with distilled malt vinegar. Incidentally if you really want to, this stuff is the base for "chip shop vinegar", just add caramel to colour it and any other flavourings you fancy, or better still, stick to the real stuff, malt vinegar.

great product very versatile

Has worked wonders on line scale at home. No odour at first but few days after opening noticeable vinegar smell. Assume it’s oxidisation however doesn’t hang around for long unlike distilled malt vinegar that makes your home smell like a chip shop for days. Use for cleaning sinks and I add it to clothes wash during rinse cycle.

If you have a weed, ivy, nettle or any unwanted plant then mixing one of these with half a cup of washing liquid and a cup of salt, sprayed onto the offending plant makes a great, non toxic weedkiller. It really DOES work. It will take a couple of weeks and may need a second application but very effective.

Bought for many uses around the home and wanted to try out a tip for in the garden. I read if you poured white vinegar on rags and left hanging on fences, it will deter foxes from coming into the garden. I haven't tried this out yet. Waiting for drier months.
