Careful. I should have spotted this as I have a long track record in IT. However, doing lots of things and this item was merely added to an existing order otherwise it would never have been bought.Here is the fact: Doesn't work. Clarification: Well, it didn't for me.Why? Well, PS/2=>USB electrical logic is just not there. I really should have known this from the outset but was too busy doing other things to actually think... The key word in the product description is 'REPLACEMENT.' If you own a keyboard with PS/2 and USB logic board, then you can connect it via this adapter. Otherwise it just isn't going to happen.It is £1.92 down the tube for me - but at least no shipping costs because it was an add-on. If I had been faced with having to factor in postage etc. then I suppose I would have paused, taken a breath and realised the silliness of my action - but as it was, it was merely added to that existing order and ended up being an irritation.Can't be bothered to return it. Either the vendor knows exactly what they are doing and are cleverly masking the deceit by including the word 'REPLACEMENT' in a highly ambiguous manner, OR they really do not have a clue what they are doing and sincerely do not realise that what they are selling is actually impossible to do (like selling striped paint).Whatever, not worth the effort of backtracking after making such a simple and fundamental mistake on my part.

Amended: I have learned that windows 10 if installed from fresh removes PS/2 capability. Therefore this adapter serves no use: i should’ve just bitten the bullet and bought a USB keyboard.I have a HP genuine keyboard, with purple ps2 connector. works perfectly with my own PC. had one to repair for a friend - USB connection only for keyboard. I expected that this adapter would enable me to use my ps/2 keyboard in the usb hole. it all connects together but the DELL pc reports keyboard failure and will not operate (I borrowed a USB keyboard and that worked perfectly). not sure, therefore, what this adapter is of use for. not worth the hassle of returning it.

So, I don't want to give a negative review as itay have been the age of the keyboard, but this connected the keyboard to the Chromebook, but no response. Product seemed to work

Just doesn't work. If you need one of these try a different manufacturer. I wanted to use it with a keyboard. In the end it was chaper just to buy a new keyboard. I would have preferred to give it nil stars. At least I got my money back.
