**This is an update to my original review. I am changing my rating to 5 stars. After reading my review, the company promptly contacted me, apologized for any inconvenience and offered to give me a replacement or a full refund. As it turned out, that item was no longer in stock so I accepted the refund. They dilligently followed up with me several times throughout the process to ensure that I was satisfied. Although I was unsuccessful in contacting them originally, once they knew I had a problem, they were outstanding in getting it resolved quickly. I still like the product and plan to purchase another one when they are back in stock.Original review: I purchased one of these and liked it so much that I bought a second one. The second one did not work as smoothly as the first, but it was not bad enough to be to concerning and I used it for a few weeks, until leaving for the season. I stored it inside during the winter and started to use it again after my return, but now the hose was getting more and more difficult to pull out and kept getting stuck. I looked inside after finally getting the entire hose unwound and saw that the drum had separated and was crooked, which explained why it was so difficult to wind and unwind. Although I had the unit for some time, it was only used a handful of times before being stored and again used only a handful of times before it was no longer usable. There is no way for me to repair it myself without ripping the entire thing apart. I tried to call the phone number on the back of the brochure that came with it but no one would answer the phone. I went online to their support website and emailed them, explaining that I believed it was a manufacturing defect and asked if they could give me some direction as to how to fix it or replace it. They never responded to my email. I then tried the "get product support" button on Amazon's website and was referred back to the seller's website that I had already emailed. I called Amazon and asked if they had a way of contacting the seller or if they could intervene on my behalf. One would think that since Amazon is marketing this vendor's products there should be some obligation to the customer to hold the seller responsible. Amazon merely said they had no way of contacting the seller, it was too late to process a refund, and referred me to the seller's website (the same one I had already emailed). In summary, I purchased a product for $170 that doesn't work, I have no recourse, and I am apparently just a*s out the money. Beware when you buy a product from a Chinese company like FIILPOW as there is no obligation for them to respond to you in any way, there is nothing you can do about it and you are taking a big chance that the product will be acceptable.

We've been using this since raccoons bit through our last hose. After that we decided to use a hose reel system. This one has worked well. The installation was straight forward with four bolt used to secure the mounting plate to the wall. The auto retraction system has been reliable and the included nozzle is not bad. It was larger than I first thought but I've gotten used to seeing it mounted on the wall. I may but another for the front yard in the future.

This hose real is a first for me. I was surprised that it came with a 100' hose attached and ready to go. The hose is the smaller 3/8 size and the hole unit weighs around 30 to 35lbs. It does come with a mount 4 screws and plastic anchors. I mounted it on a 4" × 4" post which the mount fit perfectly on it. I like the feature of the whole unit being able to swivel so that you always have a straight line from the sprayer to the unit itself. (Less chance of kincking that way) It is retractable however, it is a hearty spring and does take a little effort to pull on it. It has a self locking feature which is nice. You can pull out what you need, pull to you hear clicking and release. It will lock itself in place until you pull on it again. Word of caution. When rolling the hose back, walk with hose in hand as it recoils. As strong as the spring is, I am sure it will eventually damage the unit if you do not control the speed while it is recoiling.After buying my first one and liking it so much, I purchased another one for the back.I would recommend this product

This thing is awesome. I buried a 4” x 4” x 6’pole, backfilled with concrete and put a top hat on it to make it look extra good. Also stained the color. It’s makes my life so much easier to use. I did have a minor issue prior to warranty expiration and the company was quick to communicate and resolve. 5 stars for the product and company!

A DIFFERENT COMPANY:Sadly a hose real I bought less than 2 years ago & the company no longer makes them nor offer any support after 1 year so had to buy this oneFAST FORWARD - The high ratings were a huge plus in purchasing - I really like this hose reel more than any of the other ones I own/ ownedThis one pulls out and retracts very wellWater flow is greatThe hose size and length is perfect for me based on its use.Last hose reel I had was 65' and needed a 10' extension via a set of quick connects to reach my boat in the winter from the back wall of my home.My recommendation is to 1st figure out the length & diameter you need and add a bit of length to it as sometimes the hose will not run from point A to point B rather might have to bend around objects requiring more hose.I run a boat year round in the NE and use this hose in the winter to flush my engine as I winterize the line to my boat dock as it freezes.The hose could ideally unattached from its mount easier = the only drawback as the hose reel must be kept indoors except when briefly in use. all the other hose reels I have either have 1 screw securing the reel or a pin or a bar that is inserted vertically through top of mount into hose reel into bottom of mount - these types of mounts take seconds to install & remove ...if someone has a better way of removing & installing this reel quickly please let me know THANK YOU
