I bought this to illuminate a rather gloomy passage with no natural light. It was delivered very quickly and was well packaged so there was no issue with damage in transit. However it's worth noting that the three screws that secure the the glass dome to the fitting each have a small silicone washer and they were a bit randomly distributed through the package. Take care to go through all the wrappings to make sure you have them all. One of these was hard to find and turned up stuck to a bit of wrapping paper.As for ftting it, this was a breeze for me. I had fitted a false ceiling a couple of years ago and I made sure at the time to include a 2 foot square of plywood so that I knew whatever light I put up would have a secure fixing. If you're mounting this to a gyproc ceiling or similar you don't need to worry as there are plastic plugs included in the fixing kit, but to be honest I would discard these and use gyproc screws. There are three mounting holes which are fairly widely separated in contrast to most lighting fittings which will use two screws a couple of inches apart.The cable entry is offset to one side which means your light may be a couple of inches to one side or another of the fitting you're replacing, depending on which way you choose to orient it. So it might not be perfectly central unless you do a bit of careful chanelling.The cable entry is via silicon rubber grommet which is not pierced; you need to cut a hole in it for yourself. I did this no problem, but don't tell the Mrs I used her nail scissors!I used a 15 watt CFL in the fitting which is about right for the space it is lighting. It's a passageway of 4 metres by 1.3 metres painted in pale yellow with white ceiling. There is no natural light in this space and the glass dome is nicely frosted and gives a very pleasantly diffused light with no unpleasant highlights.The only cautions I can offer are these:When you're unpacking it make sure you find all the little washers.It's an Edison screw fitting, not a bayonetThere are three screws to remove to to change the bulb, making it a slightly fiddly job. If you use CFLs however you shouldn't need to do this too often.I recommend this product - it's great value for the money and looks very nice.

Good bathroom lights at the likes of B&Q and IKEA are very expensive. This one was of a good quality, IP44 rated and very good value. It went up without too much bother although there isn't too much room for any switch wires inside so be prepared to add a junction box before hand if you've got a busy wiring situation at the light. Light looks great once up and there is plenty of room for a LED bulb inside.

This is a lovely dome light fitting perfect for steamy rooms. However, regardless of the bulb wattage, it's not very bright, probably due to the frosting of the glass. If that's okay for your needs, definitely buy this. It has a lovely chrome edge finish and makes my bathroom look elegant.

One of the main problems of buying something over the internet is that you can only see the picture and not be able to feel it for its quality. With that in mind, whilst from the picture, this looked to be just what I wanted; I must admit I ordered with some trepidation that it might not turn out to be as good as it looked. I need not have worried. It arrived within a matter of days and not only is it every bit as good as it looked from its picture, but appears to be of very good quality, far better than I had expected and at true bargain at such a modest price. So much so, that I have just ordered another one.

Used this in our outer vestibule .Didn't want a pendant light blowing about in the wind so chose this. Sits flush with the newly plastered room and looks neat and tidy.

The first thing to say is that the fitting itself is excellent and looks really smart. For that I's give it 5 stars no problem. However it is let down by the incredibly small terminals which secure the input cables. I'm an experienced fitter of all kinds of light fittings and am a competent person in terms of the installation of all light fittings. This one had me fooled though! the terminal screws are minute and extremely awkward to a) see and b) have very small screws plus they are cross head screws to boot. Fortunately, being s competent person I had the correct sized cross head screw driver in my kit bag BUT unless you have a very small - smaller than any DIYer, this fitting is a pain to fit. I must say that had I realised this I wouldn't have dreamed of making the purchase. The terminal screws should be replaced with same size slotted screws.Fitting loos very nice when lit though.

Light was a great size and with the right bulb it was lovely and bright. Sooo much better than i expected.

This light looks quite good but is VERY poorly designed. The bulb-holder is not pre-wired with a connector box; you have to wire it manually and the fitting is rubbish - as an experienced electrician, I have never had such trouble connecting two simple wires - the holes the wires go through are wider than the bit they screw into, which makes it very hard to get the wire in; the grub-screws that grip the wires come out easily and are a devil to get back in as they are in such deep holes (again much wider than the screw hole, so it doesn't just drop in). The wall-plugs they provide are cheap rubbish too - they have no rim to stop them sliding into the hole in the wall if you make it even a mm too deep. The bolts for the glass cover are decorative but that makes them hard to screw in and out securely - and you risk dropping the glass cover! I won't be buying anything from this supplier again.

Die Deckenleuchte wurde aufgrund ihres Aussehend und dem Einsatzbereich im Badezimmer gewählt.Sieben ist aufgrund ihrer IP 44 Klasse bestens für den Einsatz in Feuchträumen geeignet.Die Verarbeitung ist absolut in Ordnung.Lediglich die gebürstete Struktur des Rahmen hätte ein wenig intensiver ausfallen dürfen.Zudem ist für den Anschluß der Stromkabel Uhrmacherwerkzeug nahezu unabdingbar.So einen katastrophaler Anschluss habe ich noch nicht erlebt.Ansonsten vollkommen empfehlenswert.

Les trous de la bulle en verre ne correspondent pas aux trous de fixation du support (écart de plusieurs millimètres).Lors du déballage du produit, la troisième vis de fixation était mise en force, et n'avait déjà pas pu être vissée jusqu'au bout. Impossible de le remonter sans prendre le risque de mettre la bulle de verre sous contrainte.A éviter pour ce tarif.

Tengo un cuarto de baño pequeño y con esta lámpara lo tengo muy iluminado, casi hasta demasiado! Fácil instalación, puede hacerlo cualquiera.

Diese Deckenleuchte sieht sehr gut aus und ist im Handumdrehen montiert. Sollte es nötig sein die Adern der Stromleitung zu verlängern bietet das Gehäuse auch genug Platz für ein paar Klemmen. Nur bei der Wahl des Leuchtmittels sollte man aufpassen, da gerade die sehr hellen LED-Leuchtmittel ziemlich dick sind.Folgendes Leuchtmittel passte z.B. leider nicht: NEUE Generation TIWIN® 13W E27 LED Birne Lampe Strahler WARMWEISS A+ /ersetzt 100W /1200 ~ 1400 Lumen /2700K /220 Grad /SMD 2835Wenn das Leuchtmittel irgendwann mal gewechselt werden muss ist dies dank dreier Schrauben, welche sich von Hand schrauben lassen, schnell und einfach erledigt.
