Aleene's 26412 Spray Gloss Finish, 6 Oz Acrylic Sealer, Original Version, Clear - Gloss

I purchased this sealer to use on slate coasters and was very impressed with the results. It worked extremely well, and a little product goes a long way. The sealer dried quickly and was easy to apply. As long as you follow the directions, it applies evenly and helps prevent runs or puddling. The can was a good size for the price, and I feel it offered excellent value for the money. In addition to slate, I also tested it on wood, and it performed just as well. Its versatility makes it a great product to keep on hand for multiple crafting and DIY projects. After applying the sealer to the slate, I noticed a significant improvement in durability. It helped make the surface more resistant to scratches and stains while maintaining the natural appearance of the stone. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable sealer for slate, wood, or other porous surfaces.

This worked so well! Definitely use out side and let it sit outside for a few minutes it does have a strong odor! It sprayed on so evenly and didnt ruin my painting, follow the directions to get an proper coat. i went over it 3 times because of the depth and ridges with the acrylic technique I used.

This is a nice, easy way to seal your diamond art. The container is easy to use and doesn't take too long to dry. This shipped and delivered on time.

I wanted to try this for covering painting projects and projects that had been sprayed with adhesive (for instance, to attach glitter to) so it would cover and protect the project. It's all paper projects. The spray works really well and dries fast, so I really like it a lot for that. It has done well with securing the glitter to those projects and making sure they weren't sticky from the adhesive spray I used on those projects before putting this layer on. For performance I would give this product 5 stars. The reason I ultimately gave it 4 stars, tho, is the smell. WOOOO!!! It's so strong!!! I would strongly recommend spraying outdoors if you can. The smell will stick around until the next day if you use it indoors. And if you do use it indoors make sure it's a very well ventilated space! I will definitely continue to use Allenes because I'm really happy with the performance. I'll put up with the smell because it works really well.

I’ve tried a few different sealants for my custom bottle art and paintings, and this is easily one of my favorites. It just works. It sprays evenly, dries pretty quick, and doesn’t mess up any of the details or colors underneath. The gloss isn’t over the top either, it adds a nice shine that makes the colors pop without looking too heavy or overcoated, and once it dries it feels smooth and actually looks like it finished the piece. Application is simple, just light coats and you’re good. I usually do a couple passes for extra protection, and it layers well without getting cloudy or streaky. I also haven’t had issues with clogging or uneven spray, which I’ve dealt with from other brands. The smell isn’t great, but it’s not the worst either, still something you’ll want to use in a ventilated area. Overall, this is one of those products I keep coming back to. Reliable, easy to use, and gives a clean finish that actually looks good. If you’re sealing artwork or custom pieces, this is a solid go-to.

Exactly as shown ! Works great ! Super easy to use ! Exactly what I was looking for ( for flowers and leafs after preserving them to bring their shine back ) worked perfect ! And the whole thing was able to get all them I was doing done so I'm very happy with that so I'd definitely say good amount in it as well ( i had a good amount of flowers and leafs going into a large shadow box worked perfectly for all them only needed the one can ) will buy again

Gloss finish did not happen

Excelente producto, sella y da un un brillo perfecto a tu proyecto en solo minutos. Seca rápido.Sin embargo el olor al aplicarlo es muy penetrante y es recomendable usar un tapabocas o mascarilla al usarlo. El olor se puede quedar un poco impregnado en la ropa. El olor desaparecerá en un día aproximadamente. La presentación es pequeña pero no se necesita mucho producto para un acabado magnífico. Sí lo recomiendo.
