I saw one of these on TV, and realized that I could use it on a current project. I have a big plunge router, but it would have been awkward to use without a router table, which I don't have. I had no trouble putting it to work. It uses standard-sized router bits. With the battery on top, it fits comfortably in my hands. I had to concentrate to keep it flat on the work, but I soon developed that skill. I just love it. I already had other ONE+ devices, so no need for another battery. I like the ONE+ system, so I was happy to find this router compatible with it. A great addition to my tool set.

This Ryobi router has been an awesome addition to my DIY tool setup. I’ve used it for everything from rounding edges on shelves to trimming pieces for custom furniture, and it handles all of it like a champ.It’s super easy to use — the depth adjustment is smooth and intuitive, and the clear base gives you great visibility while you work. The cordless design is a huge plus for me since I move between my garage and outdoor workspace often. Just pop in a Ryobi battery and you’re ready to go.It’s not made for super heavy-duty routing, but for everyday DIY projects, it’s more than enough. Another great tool for my 18+ collection. Every project around the house adds another new tool to the collection and this was used for installing doors. The router was great for cutting hinges and latch plate.

I will suggest you get some 4.0 AH batteries or be ready to use all you have on a project. I could not find int he book, online even Ryobi site what AH battery this would normally come with. I have 3x2ah, 3x3ah and 1 4AH battery and the 4AH is the only one last lasted a while. However they all worked for my Light woodworking needs. When you add a Vacuum hose to the included dust collector port, it makes the unit very heavy (lop sided) on one side, it also replaces the current clear view window still leaving one side open for you finger to slip into by accident. Would have been great if the port covered the open slot. Overall very Pleased with this unit and once again Ryobi has what I needed at a fair price.

This is a very good router to use.

Actually better value than I expected at this price. I’ve used it on several projects so far with good results. Well built, easy to adjust depth, and change bits. Well balanced with the battery in place.

Handy and compact for smaller jobs and saves dragging out your router table

Ich habe diese Fräse aus den USA bekommen, da der Preis einfach überzeugend war. Da dieses Gerät eine Kantenfräse ist, konnte ich auch auf den Parallelanschlag verzichten. Würde auf Grund der Größe auch nicht unbedingt Sinn machen. Dafür gibt es hier bei Amazon Grundplatten zum wechseln, die man dann in die Festool oder Makita Führungsschienen einsetzen kann, was dann auch ein sauberes Fräsbild bei Nuten gibt.Bei der OF war lediglich ein durchsichtiges Teil für die Absaugung dabei, was ich nicht brauche, sonst hätte ich mir keine kabellose Maschine gekauft. Und eine Spannzange für 6,25mm Fräser und ein kleiner 17er Schlüssel waren noch dabei.Funktion .... Das ist irre. Selbst bei voller Drehzaheinstellung ( Stufe 6 ) kaum Vibrationen und auch ohne Sanftanlauf sind beim Einschalten keine spürbaren Drehmomentkräfte vorhanden. Das Teil läuft sozusagen butterweich und fräst sauber und ruhig mit einem Halbrundfräser.Der Fräskorb läßt sich einfach abnehmen, und die Frässpindel wird mit einem gut erreichbaren Druckschalter festgestellt. Somit ist auch der Fräserwechsel eine schnelle Nummer.So klein die Fräse auch ist, hat sie trotzdem ein qualitatives Gewicht. Ich besitze drei Kabel gebundene Oberfräsen, aber die hier ist mein Lieblingsteil, weil sie einfach handlich und gut ist. Volle Empfehlung meinerseits😊😊

Extremely useful. First one did burn out however, when trimming 3/4" plywood. Make several passes, go slow!
