Sturdy and so far reliable. This bar has been impressive in my new home gym.

Great packaging! The bar arrived intact, it comes in a box and inside the box there’s a hard cardboard sleeve where the bar is, also covered in a plastic bag, the ends of the cardboards are hard plastic caps clipped to the cardboard so the bar doesn’t slide out. The spin is very good, it is not painted black but powder coated which means it’s gonna last a lot longer since painted bars rust and lose the paint very quickly specially if you work out outside. It was nicely oiled to keep everything from rusting in storage. The knurl is a bit soft for my liking but it’s good quality well defined knurling so I think most people will like it. Overall amazing for the price the only thing I have on it, is that the marked rings are neither at 32 (powerlifting) or 36 (weightlifting) they’re at like 34 1/2 inches apart which is weird spacing but whatever

This is a great price for a beginner/intermediate all purpose Olympic barbell. I bought it so I can workout at my home gym at the same time as my partner, and I like it because the knurling is a little less intense than his bar (it works but it doesn’t tear up my hands), and I liked the black color of the coating. It’s the same length as a regular Olympic barbell, but I like that it’s only 40lbs - it’s much easier to overhead press the slightly lower weight to start out with, while still being comparable enough to the typical 45lb bar to feel badass during my other lifts. The 500lb weight limit will likely outlast my personal abilities, so it was great to find something a little lower in price to reflect that weight limit, while still being great quality. It came very well packaged and pre-oiled. I would definitely recommend any lionscool bars to people after receiving mine.
