This is a great suet feeder. I've had a few different kinds and this one is the best. Easy to clean and fill. I have lots of woodpeckers so they LOVE this tail board thing! And it's nice to be able to have two different kinds of suet in it for a wider variety of birds

I have had several of these over the years and they work great. I like that it holds two seed cakes. The only reason I have had to replace them is due to them being destroyed by bears who raid my bird feeders. Great bird feeder.

This suet feeder is well made and reasonably priced.It has a special extension on the bottom for larger woodpeckers to rest their tail on to help stabilize them on the feeder. Made of recycled materials, easy to load suet in, waterproof and durable. A great buy!

This is the best suet feeder ever!! Easy to fill, looks great, easy to use & clean, and has such a nice tail prop for the woodpeckers. It was a real hit! Unfortunately, I only had it less than 2 wks before a bear broke into the bin where I hide my birdfeeders at night...and ran off with it! (Out of a whole bin of bird food goodies, that was the only thing he touched...and since he completely took off with it, I guess that counts for something in a review, right?🙃) We've searched all over but still can't find it, so I do plan to buy another when I can because it's that good. I've used so many other suet feeders over the years & this is hands-down the very best one by far. I highly recommend it!! You'll love it, the birds will love it..but do watch out for bears cause they apparently love it too😂! UPDATE: I bought another and it's working great...and thankfully, no bears have stolen it😉

Bought this to replace a broken one from Duncraft that was very pricey. It's every bit as nice and well crafted. The birds LOVE it too.

UPDATE: Moved up from 3 stars to 4 after using a while. The loading issue became less problematic after a few uses. I think the grates have loosened/spread just enough.ORIGINAL:This looks well-built and appears to use materials that will hold up in my often-damp environment.Minus 2 stars, however, as I was surprised and disappointed with the suet loading experience. The space between the two parallel grates (at least on my unit) was too slender for my suet cakes. To load it, I needed to cram the cakes in there with significant force- breaking off and smearing bits of suet in the process.I am using (as far as I can tell) mainstream suet cakes from hardware stores, Amazon, etc.

We have had other suet feeders that didn’t seem to attract woodpeckers very often. We decided to give one a try and within days woodpeckers were feeding at it. They really seem to like the length of it, it makes it more comfortable them to eat at. Look at the size of this guy that was eating at it today!

I bought this to replace the wooden one I had. Looks good, easy to clean and the birds seem to love using it, which is the most important thing.

I’m going to call this suet feeder indestructible as I have a problem with bears. However they are still in hibernation so whether it is actually indestructible I will find out. For now I’ll say extremely well made , heavy recycled material & I think it will stand up to my bear test. I’ll update

The suet feeder is great. I like the size & shape- it fits two regular sized suet squares at the same time. I have it hanging from a hook, and the Northern Flickers have no problem using it!
