We recommend contacting our colleagues at the doorbells department for more information. The Honeywell Home department that handles doorbells, Friedland and Global Guard Alarms can be contacted: by phone at 0800 279 3643 by email address at friedland.technical@honeywellhome.com or alarmsdoorbells.technical.uk@honeywellhome.com If you need further assistance from our side, please contact our consumer support team by submitting a request on our GetConnected HoneywellHome Website. Thank you. **Q: Is this meant to have transformer with it as didn’t come with one** A: You have two options. Use batteries or a transformer. The transformer must anything between 8 & 16v. That will be cheap and easy to source. I use it with Nest Hello (must be between 16 & 24v) but the 16v transformer I bought specifically for it outputs 18v and the Chime no longer operates. If you have purchased the Chime for Nest Hello then sourcing the transformer is the tricky bit. I'm on my 3rd transformer. 1st miss sold as had no 16v option, 2nd failed after 4 days and the current one outputs at 18v on the 16v setting and 14v on the 12v setting. **Q: I need a transformer for Honeywell dingdong classic what can I order** A: Just order a doorbell transformer 8v or 12v **Q: hi im looking for a wired doorbell chime that works with my ring doorbell pro** A: Your best bet would be to contact the manufacturer ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ding dong door bell. *by J***. on 20 May 2026* It’s a door bell, goes ding Dong when someone presses the button at the door, could do with being louder though. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good sound *by R***D on 12 July 2026* Installed in our hallway, good sound quality and I can even hear it in the garden (we have a 3bed semi detached). Definitely recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not the loudest but good value as long as it lasts! *by J***Y on 17 May 2019* Replaced a vintage Friedland with the ceramic tile in the centre with this due to redecoration and wanting a bright white bell. It's NOT a Friedland bell. It's a copy. It works well enough but is not as loud as my original Friedland bell. It is louder when fully installed than testing on the bench before installing so don't be too put off before installation. It's worth the money provided it lasts (some reports of short life span). Hoping running on batteries will not stress the bell too much rather than mains transformer. Will report back in a couple of years or if it dies prematurely! ## Frequently Bought Together - Honeywell Home Ding Dong Classic Wired Doorbell – White, D117 - Navaris Door Bell Transformer 8V 12V 24V - for Wired Doorbell Chimes - DIN Rail Mountable 8VA 230V Mains Converter 8/12/24 Volts Output - White - Merriway BH01469 2-Core Standard Figure 8 Solid Copper Thermostat Wire Cable, Door Bell Intercom Phone Entry, 0.5mm White, Metres (33 feet) Meters, 10 m --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://mongolia.desertcart.com/products/50132247-d117-ding](https://mongolia.desertcart.com/products/50132247-d117-ding) --- *Product available on Desertcart Mongolia* *Store origin: MN* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
