Works great for my Windows 11 PC, ATS, ETS, Dirt Rally 2, and Assetto Corsa

The PXN V3II is the only wheel I've ever owned or used and I'm very satisfied with my purchase of this wheel. I was using an Xbox One controller and the controller is not a bad way to go. However, after a bit of tweaking the wheel's settings and adjusting a games setup options with the wheel it has become my 'go to' option for driving simulators, especially American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator, both installed in Steam. I haven't spent a lot of time in DR2 or AC with the wheel yet, so this review will focus on ATS and ETS. All I can really say about DR2 and AC is that I it works well with these games on Steam/PC and I do feel vibration in the wheel. The most useful tip I have found deals with the wheel itself, and that is to go into the wheel's setup by holding the 'share and options' buttons down for 3 seconds and then pressing 'options' to cycle through until the green led blinks at the slowest rate. This sets the wheel to be the 'least sensitive' to steering movement. I only use the wheel in 'X' mode, as I've never gotten the wheel to be recognized by a game when in what is advertised in 'D' mode. ETS is still very sensitive to steering and the game's settings require the steering sensitivity to be set as low as possible, but it's very usable when set to the lowest game setting and the wheel is on the lowest sensitivity setting also. I also use a USB 3 port as I haven't gotten the wheel to work on a USB 2 port, although I'll admit that I haven't spent a lot of time fiddling around with 'D' mode or USB 2 ports. There's a USB port for a controller on the wheel intended for game consoles to plug a controller into, but that makes no difference on a PC as it doesn't fix my ability to use the controller at the same time as wheel. I don't feel any gears in the wheel when turning it, so maybe it's a belt drive, but I don't know. I was concerned about getting a wheel that wasn't smooth when turning, but that was unfounded because this wheel turns smooth as butter. I've read a few threads about how awful this wheel is because it only turns 180 degrees (90 to the left, 90 to the right). This has not been an issue at all for me at all in ATS or ETS, as lane changes, U-Turns in parking lots, and cornering all look and feel very natural to me. The vibration works in both ATS and ETS when I setup a game to use the wheel as an XBox controller and not use the PXN setting when it is recognized by a game. I haven't felt any force feedback in any game. Also, I do not have my Xbox controller connected and turned on when using the PXN wheel, as that seems to cause some confusion in my wheel settings such as odd buttons on the wheel will cause the truck to brake as an example. I found that using the clamp to secure the wheel works best for me as the suction cups tended to release and/or slide around on the table surface be it dense wood or granite. I ended up clamping to a piece of scrap granite about an inch thick that I put on top of my wood table. Ergonomically, the wheel is pretty comfortable, it's a bit small in diameter but but it's quite livable. It's a little stiff when turning due to the built in wheel's auto-centering spring being a bit stiff for me and after driving for several hours, my wrist's become tired. An option to adjust the steering wheel resistance would be nice, but this is not a deal killer for me on a sub $100 wheel. Like other's have said the build quality is quite nice also considering the low price point. The pedals also work fine, though they do tend to walk away from me a bit on a low pile rug after an hour or so, even with the extended heel platform deployed. No big deal though, they 'feel' right when pressed and I put a small granite slab behind the pedals to keep them from walking around on the rug. The pedals make a creaking sound when using them which is pretty noticeable when the room is quiet otherwise. I plan to attempt to take them apart if it's possible without breaking the case to see if I can't lubricate the springs or something inside the pedal base to improve the situation. The real downsides for me are the buttons on the wheel. Don't get me wrong, they feel and press well enough, it just that I tend to press the upper buttons on the top front of the wheel by accident. I have unassigned all the buttons on the upper half of the wheel as I don't really need them anyway, so that fixes it ultimately. The other issue I have is a caution about how Amazon shipped the item. They did not double box it or even bother to tape the box shut. The box is only sealed by a couple of cardboard tabs from the manufacturer, so it could have come open easily during shipping. I'd suggest that perhaps it be ordered 'gift wrapped' from Amazon to prevent this possibility. While I really enjoy driving a stick in a real car or truck, I only plan to ever use an automatic transmission when gaming, so this wheel is a great option for me. If I do want to shift, I'd use the attached paddle shifters, which have a clicking sound when pressed, but it's not too loud. Any louder of a click though and I wouldn't care for it. Unless I win the lottery, I don't plan on spending a thousand dollars on a back ordered wheel in the near future. If this one breaks or wears out, I'll just buy another inexpensive wheel. I may even buy another PXN V3II just to keep as a backup just in case.

Very nice for Gran Turismo Sport, but HORRIBLE for Grand Theft Auto 5 and Forza Horizon 3.

Good news: I used this wheel for both my Playstation 4 (slim model) and Xbox One (the S model) and the wheel works on both consoles. As long as you follow the instructions included with the wheel step-by-step, it will work on both Playstation 4 and Xbox One.HOWEVER.... how is this PXN wheel for the three games I specifically bought this wheel for? Well... 1 out of 3 isn't good. These are the games I have played (or tried to play) using this PXN wheel:Gran Turismo Sport on Playstation 4:This wheel works very well with Gran Turismo Sport and this wheel is now my Gran Turismo Sport wheel... and nothing else (and I'll explain why after this). It should be noted that I can adjust the steering sensitivity very heavily in Gran Turismo Sports in- game menu in the actual game, so that helps A LOT when it comes to controlling Gran Turismo Sport when using this wheel. It should be noted that I did NOT play in VR mode, only in normal Playstation 4 mode. Again, this wheel is great for Gran Turismo Sport. Now, let's get into WHY I gave this wheel only 2 stars out of 5:Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5 for the Playstation 4):Holy freaking crap.... this wheel is very, VERY sensitive and it causes me to over steer to the point where I am crashing all over the place and failing missions that I wouldn't have failed if I had just used the standard controller. I have NO problems driving in GTA 5 when using the standard controller. However, when using this wheel this game turns into a destruction derby in the worst way possible due to this wheel making it extremely easy to over steer. It's NOT fun using the wheel in this game. I'm going to practice a bit more with the wheel in GTA 5 when driving around senselessly, but for story missions I'm playing with the standard controller only since I don't feel like crashing all over the place and losing missions. You might be asking right now "But can you adjust the wheel's steering sensitivity on the wheel itself?" Yes, you can (it's on page 21 in the wheel's manual for those of you wondering)... and it barely does anything to fix the over steering problems in GTA 5. I even tried messing with the in-game GTA 5 options while ALSO trying to adjust the steering sensitivity on the wheel itself, but it only helped a tiny fraction amount. Over steering continued and this wheel is horrible for GTA 5.With that said: DO NOT GET THIS WHEEL FOR GRAND THEFT AUTO 5!!!! Either get another wheel (even if it's expensive, get another and better wheel) or stay happy with the standard controller.Now...On to my Xbox One:Forza Horizon 3 for Xbox One: This wheel is HORRIBLE for Forza Horizon 3. This wheel's over steering problems are extremely bad in Forza Horizon 3. If you play with the controller and then play with the wheel, you will notice that the game is extremely easy to control with the controller but is a horror show to control with this over steering wheel. This wheel will cause you to drive into trees and drive off of cliffs, something you wouldn't be doing if you use the standard controller. Again, I tried adjusting settings on both the wheel and the game itself, but it doesn't do much to keep me from driving off a cliff or crashing into something or spinning out of control. The wheel is an over steering nightmare and I just went back to using the standard controller (which makes controlling Forza Horizon 3 super easy)... which defeats the purpose of me spending close to $100 on this horrible wheel.So... with that said:This wheel works GREAT with Gran Turismo Sport (so at least it's getting good use with that game. This PXN wheel is now my official wheel for Gran Turismo Sport on Playstation 4).But this wheel is HORRIBLE for Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5 on Playstation 4) and HORRIBLE for Forza Horizon 3 on Xbox One.So 1 out of the 3 games I specifically bought this wheel for are good for this wheel. 2 out of the 3 games are much, MUCH better played with the standard controller due to MAJOR over steering problems that this horrible wheel causes.I have other games that allegedly can also use this wheel (Forza Motorsport 5 for Xbox One, Drive Club for Playstation 4 and Gran Turismo 5 for Playstation 3). I will update this review in about 3 months when I get around to playing those games (especially Gran Turismo 5 since I want to see if this wheel is truly compatible with Playstation 3).However, as of now:This wheel works great with Gran Turismo Sport for Playstation 4 (which is why this wheel is getting 2 stars and not ZERO stars. At least I can get some good use out of it). However, I have to take some serious points away since Grand Theft Auto 5 and Forza Horizon 3 were the other two major games I wanted this wheel for and I ended up going back to using the standard controller due to the horrible over steering problem this wheel has with those games.TLDR: If you have the money for a more expensive wheel, pay up the extra money and get a better wheel. It's better to pay the extra money and get another wheel that controls much, much better."You get what you pay for" is an expression that seriously applies to this 2 out of 5 star PXN wheel.

Good design, lot of function, recommend

The media could not be loaded.  Fast delivery, arrive 2days earlier. Well packed, has a large box outside the original box. Has user manual, very easy to set up.The appearance looks nice, has the wheel and pedals, nothing looks cheap, worth the money. And i really like lots of keys on the wheel, so can switch or choose function on the wheel, don't need to find mouse or keyboard. We link the wheel with pc and TV, so super large screen makes the feeling really real.It has sucktion cups and u shape clamp, so stable while playing, and can be easily removed. The sensitivity is adjustable. We find it was too sensitive at the very beginning, but find it can be adjusted at the last page of user manual. So very satisfied, nothing to complain. Good d value for this price.

Sturdy and easy to control

We originally had a Ferrari Thrustmaster but wanted to get something easier and more portable. The suckers on the base of the base of the steering wheel allow you to put it on any flat surface. Using the clamp adds more support if you are a more aggressive driver. The connection to the XBox One is simple, it takes a while to configure it in game so that you get the settings right for you but well worth it.

Almost impossible to control the car in Forza 3 Xbox one

HiI bought x 2 of the PXN V3ll 180 wheels for my sons for Christmas for their Xbox ones.It is almost impossible to control the cars on Forza! Your inputs just end up leading to complete over control making it really frustrating! It is the same on both of their consoles so not their consoles. My other son has a different wheel which works fine but was more expensive! Will be returning as not fit fit purpose.

Great value for money

I was on the fence about getting a thrustmaster or equivalent, but as it would mainly be used for family play decided to go with this one.So far it has been great, used on PC, Switch and PS4 - all work out of the box. Great response and feedback is fun

Versatile & solid

Lots of buttons so suitable for arcade through to simulation type racing games. Has triggers and an automatic style gear stick on the wheel. The wheel itself is weighty and has good resistance.
