This thumb brace is EXCELLENT and SUPERIOR to the others sold on Amazon. I purchased five different ones and THIS ONE gives the best overall support and has multiple adjustments available to give stabilization and support to the CMC, wrist and all the joints of the thumb. It feels comfortable and does not dig into my wrist or hand as others have done. It keeps my thumb in perfect position while allowing flexibility and movement of my fingers. It is very easy to put on and gives instant relief of pain. I am surprised that for the inexpensive cost of this brace it is superior in design and comfort than the others that are sold here. I also like the fact that it fits my (very small) hand well and can be adjusted to fit most hands and can be worn on both hands and is not bulky and restraining like some of the others are. I am very pleased with this brand and recommend that you get one and see how outstanding it is!

Comfortable brace that keeps my thumb in a neutral position. I don't think the brace will last for years judging by how the material is holding up after a week of use, but for the price I think it's a good buy.

The Velcro on this brace held my thumb very tight and secure. And with the option of adding a metal stay in the brace it was even more unbend-able. It wasn't in the exact position I needed it to be but very close. I wore it only at night to give my carpometacarpal joint some rest.

I have different braces and they were either too big for hand or didn’t have much support. I love this one! It fits my hand and the support is great. Now if you are looking for something that you can move your thumb in this is not it. I would recommend this and buy again.

This would be a great brace for thumb support if the velcro on the thumb wrap lasted more than 2 weeks. Use better Velcro, and you'd have an awesome brace.

I purchased this brace after dislocating my right thumb. I needed something that would hold it in place with no movement. This brace did exactly what it said it would do. I used the metal inserts for maximum stability of my thumb. It stays in place does not slide up or down. I like the fact that I can adjust the tightness. I would think, however, if you were trying to stabilize the very first joint of your thumb, the joint close to the fingernail this would not work for that as there’s still a little bit of movement from the tip of my thumb. However, the joint closest to my palm, the one I severely injured has zero movement.

I sprained my left thumb and immediately started shopping for splints and braces. Nothing seemed to give me the protection I was hoping for and the stabilization I needed without losing most of the function of the rest of the fingers until I tried this one. Its user friendly design and the instant relief it provided combined to make it a winner.

I have had this for a year and used it for several months. Worked great during that time. My thumb stated hurting and started wearing it again, but the cloth around the edge of the thumb has started to fray and rubs against the bottom of my thumb nail causing pain. Going to have to buy a better one.
